"Office is overwhelmed, unable to return calls, doctors set appointments two to three months out. Unresponsive at best."
"Two weeks they don't answer the phones! I have been trying to get an appointment. The answering service even said they don't know why the doctors office isn't answering or returning calls."
"This is the first time I’ve been to a doctor’s office and had to input my information into their computer I assume so they can get paid. The computer would not accept my information and instead of helping the receptionist yelled your pushing the buttons too hard. When I pushed the button softer it would input several of the same numbers. I’m old and not a big fan of computers, and less a fan of disrespectful people. Obviously she has more power than me as she decided to cancel my appointment"
"This place is terrible. It takes months in between visits, the sleep doctor sees you the first time, then, he sends a nurse to discuss "specialized" medical matters. I went for a review of my sleep study which I did in November, but they only had availability now, in FEB. I had some questions about my sleep in general as well, hence me going to a doctor "specialized" in sleep disorders; however, the doctor was a no show and only the nurse - not the doctor - came to see me. I went with it and ask him about my difficulty falling back asleep after waking up in the middle of the night. He says "we are here to discuss sleep apnea, for that, go to a psychiatrist and take melatonin". After my moment of disbelief from what I had just heard, I replied "I thought I was here to see a "sleep disorder doctor", who is specialized in this field and who could better evaluate the situation and the possible root cause of this type of insomnia. That was absolutely preposterous. The only thing he wanted to talk about was getting a new C-pap machine, nothing else. Mind you that I paid my co-pay to see the doctor and I am sure they will bill my insurance as if I had been seen by him. Unbelievable!!!!"
"Please stop sending me emails to sign up for the patient portal. It won't let me unsubcribe from receiving the emails. I haven't been a patient since the beginning of the pandemic when in the middle of my treatment for an endocrine disease you informed me that the whole Endocrine Department has permanently shut down because there were no doctors in that specialty. You did not offer alternatives or anything. Now after all this time this is the first you've contacted me via email. Was I supposed to wait almost 3 years with no medical care?"
