"Quiet beautifull retirement center. Unassisted housing for seniors"
"I have had to opportunity to work at Mountain Meadows through construction. I would say its a great place and the Staff is very friendly! They are very welcoming and always make sure things are taken care of. Hospitality and service is top notch!"
"Visiting great friends who took us to the Clubhouse for dinner. The specials were delicious! Soup, salad bar, main course, dessert, and bread throughout! Worth it! Wonderful staff and friendly patrons just makes it great."
"My mother lived here for 5 years, and I visited often. Always looked forward to the dinners, which I like more than most of the restaurants in town. There is always a fresh salad bar, homemade soup, choice of meat, fish, and vegetarian main dishes, plenty of side vegetables, plus desserts and beverages. Residents can have guests in the dining room; my mother would treat me to dinner at a cost less than $10 to her. They hold onsite live concerts -- delightful. My mother, despite her obvious disabilities toward the end, was always treated with affection and respect by the residents and staff. Residents run the place, so everything is for their benefit. Some senior communities say they are non-profit, but are run by management companies that are for-profit, resulting in penny-pinching policies that result in frequent staff turnover and other negative impacts. I've seen it in Davis, CA where my mother-in-law lived. Full disclosure, I'm now selling her apartment on N. Mountain Ave. Wish I could live there myself, but I'm attached to the Bay Area :-)"
"This is a great place to live. The people are friendly and welcoming. It's not far from down Ashland. There are homes with good views. The food is fairly good and wait staff are friendly. It's a active senior community. On a scale of one to ten, it's an eight."
