"I am dealing with bulging discs. Epidurals only helped so much. A truly frightening predicament! My 45 minute sessions at Seven Oaks begin with a very nuanced and relaxing back massage, and end with being taught some type of exercises. We started with stretching exercises, then I was pleasantly surprised to find they have Pilates reformers, my personal favorite. Have moved on to their repertoire of very helpful and core strengthening reformer exercises, a welcome addition to mine. The staff teaching the exercises are friendly, helpful, and funny themselves. David and Celia are amazing with massage technique. They have shared their very informed knowledge of how trauma affects the body. My body was so far from the state I knew prior to the trauma, it was a relief to learn that what l was going through was typical for that type of event. Also, that my body wants to heal, and I am finding… can heal. It is a process, but I am finding consistent relief. When I made a wrong move on my reformer at home, they were there to smooth it out and help strengthen my core. I feel like I am in good hands and progressing nicely. Thank You Seven Oaks!"
