"I love dealing with everyone at this pharmacy. Christine is one of my favorites, but truly everyone is helpful. Just wish I could figure out to have the prescriptions sent to our home. score 10plus..."
"I agree with the people who left negative reviews!! The ONLY reason I use this pharmacy is because it's my only choice. I have been there numerous times when they were out of my medication and had to return. One time, the pharmacist implied I was lying about a fax my Dr had sent. They are rude and it's usually an "ugh" experience."
"I wish I could give a more positive update, but Costco continues to be the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Just NEVER use Costco pharmacy unless you are forced to. I would switch today, but my insurance requires Costco. They do not fill prescriptions called in by the doctor. They are never ready. As I waited to pick up my prescription, I sat in the little chairs near the pharmacy and observed. Prescriptions were ready for only 2 of the 8 people who went to the pharmacy. I won't count the 9th person, because she was clearly trying to pick up a controlled substance early. One gentleman, who was more aggressive than me, was able to get a partial prescription (which really made me mad, because they have told me more than once, they will not do that.) Their job seems pretty simple to me. A doctor calls in a prescription, you fill it, the customer picks it up. All of my prescriptions come from the same office (no opioids) and yet they can't seem to perform the one task they are supposed to do... fill prescriptions. If 75% of the people were told to come back in 20 minutes, or in two cases, the next day, it seems like the pharmacy's primary job in Turlock is to get you to spend more time and money in Costco. What a scam. Again, the damn job is to fill prescriptions called in by a doctor, and here is a novel idea, if you have a question, give the customer or doctor a call. Don't wait until the person shows up. I think they have pharmacists who think they are doctors or who wish they were. My doctor literally said, "Costco pharmacy is the worst." We have to use Costco because of our insurance, but I wonder if Merced or Modesto would be better, or if this is company-wide stupidity (or even more diabolical, an attempt to keep you in the store). Doctor calls, pharmacy fills, customer picks up. It's a damn simple job. (Again, none one of my prescriptions are opioids so that is not the issue.) I know pharmacists are in high demand, so Costco must be a crappy place to work. It's definitely a crappy place to be a customer. They do smile alot... like Stepford Wives."
"You would figure that in being in business for well over a decade that this place would improve there customer service, well some things never change. If you go here you better expect a wait even with no lines. If there is a line expect your wait to exceed well over 10 to 15 minutes. They are very friendly staff but beyond that they are HORRIBLY slow, and there is never anyone at the register when you get there. There are times I've had to stand there 5 minutes before someone sees me standing at the counter. If I don't have an issue with a prescription it's a miracle in itself. They are VERY SLOW at filling your prescriptions, so if you tell them you will be back tomorrow to get it, allow yourself an extra 24 hours just to make sure of that. I primarily go there because of the shopping and the prices out of pocket for the prescriptions, but I'm noticing now that Walmart Pharmacy on Geer Road is about the same price if not sometimes cheaper for an out of pocket prescription cost, so I'm going to move my business to that pharmacy location now. I'm told that Walmart Pharmacy on Geer Road is pretty quick in customer service which is a winner for me. You need to improve your Customer Service Costco Pharmacy, It's unacceptable, BOTTOM LINE!"
"This may be the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with... with CVS running a close second. They will tell you something is ready when it is not. They will say they did not receive an order that was clearly placed by the doctor. I actually had my doctor listening in while I talked to them because my doctor's office has had so much trouble with them. The only reason I don't go back to Safeway pharmacy (in Turlock - a great pharmacy) is that I get free generics at Costco from work. I have a chronic pain issue, and they are consistently late on prescriptions - I'm not even talking about controlled substances. I am going to update this review monthly, because I would love nothing more than to report a change. The people are very nice, but I can't tell if they are inept, or if it's their system that is an issue. Hoping for change... I will keep posting."
