"Do not rent from these slum lords! They are completely unprofessional and conspired to kick us out from the beginning, when we did nothing wrong. Rather than helping when a bad housing situation got worse, they completely ignored us when we asked to move into a better place (away from drug dealers & inconsiderate rude neighbors). If Suzanne Tibbles really cared about providing good homes to people as she claims on her website, she'd never allow this to happen. These people are completely immoral and don't care about you. Stay away, far away! This is the reason we moved out of Humboldt County entirely. Crooks!"
"Review for Coldwell Banker and the apartment located at 2102 Heather Ln Apt 1, Arcata, CA. The worst and rudest property management company on the planet. I have never seen an apartment in such disrepair, rented at a premium price. When I did my pre move-in walkthrough before signing the lease, I was only given about 15 minutes by Sabrina because she had to rush-off to take care of wedding plans for herself. She was late showing up which was why I did not have more time even though Coldwell Banker said in a response to my complaint with the BBB that I spent over 30 minutes walking through the apartment. That was a false statement made by Coldwell Banker. Suzanne who is the owner of this Coldwell Banker branch is extremely unprofessional. After spending only one night in the apartment, I found over a dozen issues with the quality of the apartment; the pictures capture just a few of these issues. I sent a detailed list in a professional manner to Coldwell Banker asking if we could address the issues I had found during work hours (I had sent the email over the weekend because I had moved in on a Friday). On Monday, I received a call from Suzanne who was upset with me for finding quality issues in the apartment. She complained to me that she had "gotten away for the weekend to spend time with her son only to come back to my laundry list of complaints." Something along those lines. But she was the one complaining about not doing her job, otherwise there would have been no quality issues with the apartment, if she had done her job properly, before I ever even looked at the apartment. The pictures of the apartment are the state it was in when I moved in. The pictures are what Coldwell Banker considers "move-in ready." Suzanne then brought my list of concerns to my apartment and said she was there to address them one-by-one. That was not what happened. Suzanne aggressively moved about the apartment not trying to fix things or provide solutions but to accuse me of making stuff up, and her only goal was to refute any concerns I had. She was extremely unhelpful and rude. I was able to get the W/D removed, some of the bathroom re-caulked, one set of bedroom blinds replaced, and one bedroom screen fixed. All of that should have been done long before I ever even looked at the apartment, which is why Coldwell Banker does not deserve a "thank you" for simply doing the bare minimum. After moving out, I filed a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) because the Fair Housing Council in Arcata and Humboldt County is completely inept. Coldwell Banker made blatant false statements in their statements to the BBB; only proving that this Coldwell Banker branch and its owner have poor business ethics. Coldwell Banker completley ruined my experience of living in Humboldt County and was the main reason for me moving away from the area. An absolute disgrace of a U.S. business."
"Cutten realty stuck us with a tree maintanence program after the sale of our home turns out non disclosed tree maintanence program will cost our family 50.000 in trimming costs in our lifetime after limbs started falling on the home. BUYER BEWARE OF DEBBIE BINDEL MIKE PIGG AND TINA CHRISTAINSEN OF THEIR NON DISCLOSURE WAYS! they gave us the finger and laughed at the hazards to our neighbors pets and us. SO THINK TWICE BEFORE HIRING THESE PEOPLE TO FIND A HOME THEIR HIDDEN DISCLOSURES COULD COST YOU BIG MONEY LIKE US."

"Poor quality work from their own people (although very over priced) with no one following up on work being done. Although office people are very kind and helpful it is a complete turn around for dealing with who is in charge! Very confrontational and disrespectful when questions arise about getting things done right! I reccomend getting your own reputable vendors and doing your own walk through after a renter moves out. However that is what your paying them for, right?"
