Days Inn by Wyndham Eureka CA

"The paper thin walls included me in on the phone calls of my neighbor. The nonexistent weather stripping on the door helped me to know when people were coming and going all night. It also provided a disco atmosphere every time someone walked by. Some kind person in the hallway screaming on his phone call entertained me in Spanish until 11pm! The rock hard beds ensured that I did not sleep too late as to miss the “grab and go” breakfast included in the lobby of which I never did find. I was booked for four nights and maybe slept an hour in total."

"Not a good place to stay. I would spend the extra money and stay at a nicer place in Eurika. We booked a last minute room and there was lots of criminal activity in the hotel. We watched a drug deal happen within 5 minutes. The rooms were very very dirty and didn’t look like they’ve been cleaned. Lots of hair on the bed and when we checked the corner of the bleed we noticed blood stains - big signs of bed bugs. After 10 mins we went and told the front desk and asked for a refund. They would not refund us we still booked a different hotel and did not even stay here. Avoid at all costs unless you have no other choice. But I would still rather sleep on my car"

"Great place when in Eureka! Room was lovely (see images), Starbucks right nearby & short walk to old town area which has a bunch of worthy places. Only negatives I say are the "breakfast" is grab & go (no place to sit & eat) plus not much available, fortunately we did not need much. Other was a prior guest "hid" an empty booze bottle behind room darkening curtains the cleaning crew missed. BUT STAFF IS EXCELLENT & look (see images) at all the space (my est 12x18) and amenities in the room like coat hooks, storage places... WAIT WHY CAN I NOT ADD A PHOTO TODAY? Stay tuned I will try edit later..."

"We had to book a room last minute due to the wildfires and were able to get one quickly, efficiently and for cheap. The lady at the front desk was super nice, personable, and accommodating even though I was in the worst mood. Rooms were cozy and surprisingly nice. Had a great night's sleep and even got a room with a balcony. Free grab and go breakfast was also a nice add on. Again lady at front desk was 5 stars. Highly recommend!"
