Walgreens Pharmacy

"Bring your business somewhere else, like cvs pharmacy who has a waay better service. ER doctor sent medication to Walgreens before I can even tell them to send it to CVS. I called Walgreens to see if medication can be rushed and I was on hold for an hour and the prerecorded message keep saying one caller ahead of me. I don't think someone can talk to a customer on the phone for an hour. All Walgreens are terrible, not just this place."

"Fire all the staff and refill with cats. Pretty sure that’ll make this place run 10x more efficiently. We can train cats to pick up the phone, but no hope with the human staff here."

"The medicine was not in stock they placed the order saying it will come in two days but it didn’t come. I called pharmacy and they said they didn’t order. Atleast need to be careful with medicines it’s important for someone’s health."

New development, when you call the pharmacy and your on hold waiting for 30-40min, they like to pick up the phone and hang up ( you can hear the background for half a second). This place is so bad I’m not even mad anymore. The Major or community officials need to threaten to shut this place down, they make too much money to treat the community like this."

"Always confusing, inconsistent, non-communicative, slow pharmacy services. Due to a change in insurance coverage, I recently switched pharmacy from CVS to Walgreens. After initially filling prescriptions in this store with agonizingly slow service, I realized I never wanted to do that again. I tried to convert my prescription to their mail delivery service and was assured the same online pharmacy portal works seamlessly with both services. The first time my refill came due, I requested it online. The interface said the prescription was out of refills, but not to worry because they would contact my doctor's office to authorize the refill. After a few more days, the online status of my refill was not changing from "pending", and I was running out of the medicine. I went into the store, and the clerk told me that prescription "ended". I said "Don't you contact the prescribing doctor when that happens?" and he said "Yeah, we can do that. Want me to do that?" I told him I thought it was automatic, and he said "Oh, no. You have to request it." which he did with the click of his keyboard. So now it's Friday night. The prescription has been pending the entire work week, which has just ended. I'm out of meds for the weekend. My doctor's office won't see their fax until Monday morning, and then, hopefully, Walgreens will start again trying to fill the prescription. Fortunately mine is not a serious condition, but it could have been. I no longer trust this pharmacy, and would be afraid to allow anyone I cared about to use them. I always took CVS for granted. Never had any "great" customer service there, but they were at least competent. However after my experience with Walgreens, CVS now looks like the Mayo Clinic. I will not be using Walgreens Pharmacy again."
