"While this location is the first result when I search for ‘pharmacy’ near my home, I was (not actually so) surprised to realize it is actually the most rundown and poorly managed corner store in East Oakland, which happens to have a depression-era medical dispensary in the back — really: avoid if you can, or prepare for to be disappointed and disrespected; such an acute injustice that this is the only pharmacy serving such a large community (including many people with medical needs) and a shame that this is the highest level of service a corporation like CVS is able to offer in 2023. my only real medical issues are food allergies, so what few prescriptions I have are usually not a priority (and can ordered by mail) but visiting this location today was a stark reminder of what many have to regularly endure to meet their most basic healthcare needs. An absolute shame, I can not emphasize enough."

"Many products are locked in glass displays. I asked an assistant to unlock one of the products for me. He got the product and silently walked away to the cashier without giving me the product even to read the box. Very rude service."
