"If there was a 0 rating as an option, I would have chosen it. People, if you need countertops or anything else they do, don't go to them. Dave is nothing but a liar. We ordered countertops last December. Still nothing. Rarely answers the phone or texts. Pretty much never. The time he did, had one lame excuse after another. He finally gave us an install time; June 23rd. Guess what. He never called or showed up. He even said his plumber would be here before he got here and when I called them, they said they haven't talked to him in months. Dave is nothing but a liar and crook if you ask me. Enough said. He runs a terrible business."

"I hate to say against a fellow "tradesman" but in this case it is OK because this guy is no such thing. A fellow tradesman would NOT lie, He would not do to a customer what he "Dave" has done to the couple i just received a call from and their nightmarish experience with their counter top order. These two have been scammed from the git go. Now today Dave told them "AGAIN" ( the 3rd time) he was on the way to their home after they had removed the old counters at 10 am. All day long....NO DAVE. this is when they called me and I told them to get their money back , if possible, and we would take care of the situation... Tradesmen just DON'T DO THIS. My recommendation, Dave ... close up shop. Stop the deceit and get to church and ask forgiveness for sinning ways ... Prayers to you sir...you need them. God bless ! Dean C"

"Dave at Hi-Way custom countertops was a nightmare. After having custom cabinets made, my cabinet guy (who I cannot say enough positive things about) gave me the measurements for the countertops. I placed my order with Dave and then made my first mistake – paid him in full. I know, dumb move. 3 weeks went by and I never heard from Dave. I called him and he said that he wanted to come to my house and measure for the countertops himself, which he did. Several more weeks go by and I start calling Dave again and then the lies start. Everything from him not being able to get the sink I ordered, to the wrong glue being sent 3 times for my under mount sink, to everything being done & it is being delivered, to the fact he was going to refund me the difference between the my original sink and the one I actually got. It got worse! We were told that our countertops were going to be delivered so my wife took off of work to be at the house. When things did not arrive by 12:30 I called Dave and was told the tops were in the truck and on their way. When things did not arrive by 4 that afternoon I tried calling again & did not get an answer so I left work and drove right to Dave’s shop. There was Dave, my unfinished countertop and my undermount sink in the box. My wife took the entire day off for no reason other than Dave lied to us! So a week later the countertops were dropped off, but here is the kicker – my cabinet guy and I had to cut ¾ of an inch off one of the pieces because it was too big. After Dave measured things HIMSELF because he did not trust my cabinet guys measurements! And Dave, if you are reading this feel free to contact me – I am still waiting for you to refund for the price difference between the two sinks  Jason Melby"
