"So glad we chose Walk on Wood! Erik came out to our house multiple times before, during, and after the job, and answered lots of questions. The crew that did our floors, Jack and Dalton, were very timely, definitely knew what they were doing, and were great to talk to each day. We have a 1950's ranch with original oak floors except the kitchen; they tore up the vinyl and subfloor in the kitchen and replaced it with oak that matches the 1950's oak from the rest of the house. They also tore up a few sections of existing stuff that squeaked badly, fixed the squeaks, and weaved in new wood such that you can't even tell. Then refinished the entire floor of the house. Our floors are now the most beautiful, deep, rich, dark espresso brown that I've always dreamed of having but never thought would be a reality. Erik himself custom-prepared different shades/samples of dark brown stains and pre-stained a small, unfinished section of our floors with these "swatches" so we could take the time to look at the different colors under different lighting conditions on our own floors, in our own home, in order to make the perfect choice.
