"Extremely poor customer service. We went in to order cabinets and counter tops. Started working with Brenda. After she missed our scheduled appointment for measurements and I asked if she could come the next day (I understand things happen), I should have known it would get worse. We needed more clarification on details about the order, but after weeks of emails, phone calls, going there in person, and voice-mails with no response, we had to continue our work with preparing for the arrival of the cabinets. Plus, we are still missing product we ordered. The ONLY time she has called since was for more payment. The worst customer service I have had thus far."

"A contractor I hired (Trevor Mavis) said he ordered 13,180 dollars of decking from Lyman. I called the company to confirm. An employee (Brian) confirmed my order was in and even e mailed me the invoice on it which said cash sale. I paid the contractor on this info who ran off with all the money. It wouldn’t have happened had their employee not lied and stood up for that contractor. They refuse to take any responsibility for it, and I had to call at least 10 times to even get an answer on it from manager. They said the employee is still working there. So I’m out over 13k on it. Then learned same contractor/employee did it to someone else for 8,300, and she is out the money also. They were complicit in helping a contractor steal a large sum of money from an elderly woman. Do you want to do business here?"

"Scheduled an appointment to look at cabinets and countertops for our kitchen stood around and waited for the person that's scheduled her appointment with her too talk with us she knew we were there 25 minutes later she was still busy socializing with others and we left without speaking to a Consulting total waste of time don't waste your energy or effort"

"Front desk associate was hospitable and offered us coffee as soon as we walked in. Salesman, Warren, was responsive, down-to-earth, and punctual, quoted us accurately and previewed our order. Countertops, available from a wide variety, were quality, well-constructed, and on time. The delivery driver was courteous and helpful. One countertop had been cut slightly too long to fit the opening but two gentlemen (I wish I could remember their names) took time from their busy day and showed up within an hour to cut it to size and they even helped me set it in place to make sure. I would certainly recommend to a friend. Thanks Lyman Lumber!"

"I usually don't review places, especially not in a negative manner because I understand stuff happens. People are people, and there are mistakes. However, in this case... I was driving down highway 53, in the left lane with a Lyman Lumber truck in the right. I could literally SEE the rocks, bouncing off of the truck bed onto the highway. The van in front of me and I had to come to a complete stop in order to avoid these river rock sized stones. (A serious accident could have occurred here)- and when we got moving again, another large rock came from the truck bed, onto the road, and bounced up onto my windshield. SHATTERING my window. If it would have hopped up any higher, it would have gone thru my windshield completely. (my windshield technician's words, not mine) I tried to send a polite email to the "customer service" link on their website, asking about a policy to ensure a clean truck bed, or a walk thru before they hit the road. My email was returned as non-deliverable. I called, and spoke with a gal that ensured me she would talk to management, go look at the trucks, and get back to me. I provided her with the license plate, the time and place, and the direction of travel- thinking that would be enough to do her homework. It has been two weeks, and I still have not heard from the Lyman team. Like I said, I understand things happen, and I honestly wasn't upset. But now, the more time that passes, the more annoyed I get. I am out a windshield, a state park pass, and an unlimited car wash pass because of this. If you don't care, don't care. Just don't tell me you are going to do something (call me back) and don't. I used to hear that Lyman was a highly recommended place amongst my home building business owner friends. But now, it seems the opposite. I cannot agree more about the one star reviews regarding customer service. Be careful who you do business with. Especially when they say one thing, and do another."
