"I've been told several times now by dental that I just have "pre cavities" and "everybody has them". Strongly advising and discouraging me from getting a referral off base to have them looked at even though I'm in pain. My teeth keep shifting more and more each year and they see no problem giving me the run around for braces I need (some teeth are sideways now). I've also gone to my PCM for having ongoing blood in my stools and he said "it's normal, but if it happens for the third month in a row we can look into it". I know for dam sure I've failed that hearing test the last two times as I'm literally deaf in one ear and the guy has passed me each time. World's greatest Air Force :)"
"My daughter and I both get seen here at the clinic, we have not had a bad experience yet. We have been here for two years so far."
"I avoid coming here at all costs. Waited for twenty minutes to be put into a back room and forgotten about for nearly an hour. I came in concerned about a sudden vision change and was just thrown some glasses and wished good luck by a doctor that had better things to do than help."
"Kept being told I need to come in for an appt. I made one. They then called me the day prior and cancelled on me because they had to have a training day. I made a follow-up appointment for the same thing they cancelled on me for previously. When I showed up, I was told I actually didn’t need to have come in for an appt and that they just hadn’t updated my status on IMR. Another time I wanted to get a referral for an appointment off base close to the base or my place of residence. I was told by a nurse that they would not make one for me because it was “a waste of tax payers’ dollars” but that I was free to drive 1.5 hours to the clinic on Travis instead."
