"I arrived on Sunday, March 3rd @ 6:35pm. 1-1/2 hours before closing. The reception man (bald short guy) was at front door entrance doing something and as I approached from he commented to me sarcastically "Oh great you're coming in less than 2 hours before closing" I replied "don't you close at 8pm" he said "yes but it's a 2 hour wait." He didn't say this to people who arrived after me. I was offended because this is the second time I was treated coldly and discriminatory at this urgent care location. I'm a 66 yr old black woman with cancer and needed medical care. I don't appreciate being treated as though I don't matter. I didn't complain last year when I received this same treatment but I want management to contact me regarding this current incident. I would give zero stars if system would allow."
"i would not waste your time going here... the wait was over 3 hrs. I would recommend going to scripps geisel urgent care instead. I left here because I knew I couldn't wait that long and went to scripps geisel urgent care (10 min from here) and was seen right away. The waiting room at geisel was A LOT more comfortable and you feel like a person instead of a number like here."
"I went to UCSD Urgent Care with a hyper extended thumb and got excellent care. After examining it, the doctor ordered an X-ray and reviewed the results with me, provided me with a splint to protect it, and referred me to an Orthopedics doctor. I have been a patient at UCSD for more than 30 years and always receive very good medical care there. I highly recommend UC San Diego Health."
"Waited 2+ hours and was never seen. Man at reception told person in front of us it would be another hour. When I asked him how long he thought it would be for us, he said he couldn’t give a time to every single patient. I said, would it be about an hour? Just like you told the person in front of us just now? Because my 10-year-old is hungry, I did not bring dinner for him and I was wondering if we had time to go across the street to the gas station to get him a snack. He just said no it might be less. That other person just walked in. I can’t give you a time. After waiting more than 2 hours with my 10-year-old who has had chest pain for two days, I was hoping for some kind / professional interaction."
"Make sure to pay the parking on your phone. I paid @$4+ for @2 hours. The paid parking at every UnitedHealth clinic or hospital is a racket. They nickel and dime you. I walked up to the urgent care and there was a sign that said go to labs to check in. I am not feeling well so I didn't see the sign at first and the two people behind the desk didn't bother to tell me. I wish it was clear who will explain the labs to me afterwards. I understand they go to MyChart, but who do I call if I have a question? It looks pretty clean. I've been waiting around an hour and a half. The process to check in on line kept kicking me out as a guest. I wish it was connected to MyChart and easy to sign in with a fingerprint like it is to make other appts. Instead, you have an additional step to sign in as a guest or yourself."
