"Recently I found myself very ill. Two times at Urgent Care, once at my primary doctor and two hospital stays later hospital stays with a ride in an ambulance. During my second hospital stay, I had been treated for my obvious reasons. Bronchitis Flu and Pneumonia and Atrium Fibrilation! I was mending on these issues but my lungs were still getting worse heading towards shutting down. I was told I was being discharged. After raising hell at the highest levels of the hospital. "Stating, I can't do, coming back in a week, something is still very wrong". The next morning I found Dr. David Lee, in my room, going through notes. He stated that he didn't know what was wrong with me but I wasn't going to be discharged until he did. Dr. Lee, made good on this promise, by leaving no stone unturned! He discovered further underlying conditions that had been overlooked and misdiagnosed for years. He found I was highly allergic to one of the medications that I was being treated with as well causing serious complications. After a double lung surgery/procedure he contacted me after hours on his personal time after a very long day for himself, late on a Friday evening. He wanted me to know that a biopsy had returned, showing NO Cancer! So not to worry over the weekend wondering about it! By his dedication, and unrelenting desire to get to the root cause he may saved my life! But by identifying issues from Combat, while serving as a United States, Marine, he has solved a mystery that will improve my quality of life for good going forward! He's a true professional, with the highest deduction and compassion for his patient's, he takes care of. Five Stars, is not a high enough rating. I recommend him with full confidence. David D.
