"Made an appointment with the Neuron Clinic back during the first week of December 2023 I had to wait 2 months for an appointment for and EMG test on my cervical spine scheduled for January 31 ,2024 and at the last minute 5 days before my appointment I got a call and text message from the Neuron Clinic stating they had cancelled my EMG appointment because the Doctor I was scheduled to see had to go on emergency leave. They then said I could reschedule the appointment to be seen at the end of March 2024. I informed them my Ortho surgeon had me schedule for surgery on my neck February 12, 2024 for 5 levels on my cervical spine and that the surgeon needed to review my EMG results for planing purposes for my surgery they said I’m sorry we can’t help you and we have no one else to see you so you have to wait another 2 months. This was completely UNSAT to cancel my appointment at the last minute with no compassion for what I was dealing with. An EMG test takes about 30 minutes to conduct and this clinic basically said we can’t help you and we are sorry for the inconvience but we can’t see you so you will have to cancel your surgery. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to any one nobody should wait 2 months for an appointment for a critical surgery then to get the appointment canceled at the last minute then have to wait another 2 months to be seen by this clinic (so 4 months total wait time) then be told that your surgeon will have to cancel your neck surgery this was completely UNSAT!!!"

"We got there early for my son the patient's appointment we got there at 10:45 his appointment was at 11:15. at 11:00 he went to the bathroom with his dad because he wasn't feeling well the reason for the appointment. While in the bathroom he was called back. I let the front desk know he was in the restroom, and I would go get him. She said he would be in room 7. I brought back in the waiting from and asked if we could go to the room because he needs to lay down. The 2 girls at the front desked were talking to each other and ignoring me. I walked up closer and again asked they said wait for the MA, I said he needs to lay down they ignored me. My son began throwing up in the waiting room embarrassed he began to cry. The 2 girls just sat there didn't offer anything not even water. They never did go back to get the MA. Luckly my husband had grabbed the trash bag from the bathroom. We walked out of the office upset and disappointed. We will not be returning to this office we live in east county and made the long drive hoping to get some help. We wanted to talk to the doctor and let him know he is doing worse and request a follow up MRI."

"This has been the worst medical experience that I have had since living in San Diego. I am a military spouse of 23 years. We have been living here for a little over a year. The first appointment that I was able to make was three months from the day that I scheduled it. I received a call about a month prior to my appointment saying that I can be seen early. I stopped all of my plans. I canceled another appointment and I had to stop doing my schoolwork and work out to drive 20 minutes out here and not find parking. I am a busy mother of four kids and my husband has always gone out to sea. I am an early person to everything that I do. When I arrived it took me at the very least 15 minutes of trying to find parking. I called and informed them that I could not find parking. I rushed in, and the clerk told me that I was late, I told her what happened and she said she would ask the doctor if I could be seen. The doctor said if her next appointment does not show, she will see me. So I waited. The next person showed was I was told that I could not be seen and rescheduled. I am livid. I am so angry, and I have never placed a negative review about anything in my life. I will not be coming back to this clinic at all."

I appreciate the text reminders, patient portal, and follow-up Rx reminders! Dr. Maksym Marek himself was thorough, friendly, and is straight to the point which I appreciate. A great office is one that is well kept, clean, organized, on point staff, and a knowledgeable doctor-this office has it all! Good job"
