"As someone who has considered Dr. Miremadi to be a family friend and my doctor for over 20 years, it saddens me to write this review. But I feel it is my obligation to warn others that the doctor is no longer fit to be practicing and should probably retire. It's taken me nearly 6 months to process my feelings around a series of appointments I had with Dr. Miremadi that resulted in a deep trauma. To make a long story short, over the course of three consecutive weekly appointments, the doctor administered steroid injections into my face in an attempt to contain an infection in a recently operated area. I asked the doctor about potential side effects from steroid injections and he assured me that the quantity he was injecting into my face would not result in skin atrophy. In a very cavalier fashion he said there would be no skin atrophy and that I could receive these injections every day with zero side effects. About two weeks after my last appointment, my face started to show signs of skin atrophy and in areas where I had not even received an injection. In some cases the injections were so voluminous that they traveled to other parts of my face. When I confronted the doctor about the side effects, he categorically denied ever having made any assurances to me. Adding insult to injury, he was defensive, rude, and hurtful. Six months after this trauma my face is still healing and may take up to two years to heal and may never heal. He was once a great doctor but does not seem to have his full faculties about him anymore and should not be treating patients. I recommend steering clear of him."
