"Don't know how I'm one of the first people to call when they open, and have my 2 minute hold drag on well over an hour"
"Unfortunately our experience at this hospital was very bad. It takes my child 2 months or more to see a doctor. This is incredible! When I tried to change this clinic to a civilian one, Tricare refused me 3 times."
"My husband and I went in for my sons 4 month appointment, Dr. Jonas Bernal was there for no longer than 6 minutes. He seemed to be in a rush the whole appointment! We brought up how our son has had a cold for about 5 days, runny and stuffy nose along with a cough. The doctor deemed it as a regular cold since the baby had just started daycare. He ran NO tests on our son to make sure it wasnt anything else. We ended up going to the hospital a few days later because the baby was wheezing and just not doing any better, turns out it was RSV! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ! DO NOT GO HERE ! If I didn’t follow my gut I would have never known it was RSV."
"I will never go back to NTC Point Loma’s pharmacy. I’ve never received such unprofessional, poor, and unfriendly service at a military pharmacy before. Today I went to pick up my prescription, and this was my first time coming to this facility. When my number was called, I was sent to window #1. I gave the pharmacist my military ID and told him “hello I’m here to pick up my prescription”. He then decides to mock me and yell to all his co-workers “hey everybody! She’s here to pick up her prescription, what will we do??”. Even his co-workers looked at him with surprise because his behavior was unacceptable. It was clear that I was uncomfortable. Once he brings me my prescription, he laughs at me and says “you’re so funny”. I don’t see what’s funny about that situation at all. I was there for a quick pick up and that was it. Instead I had to endure being bullied in front of everyone at the pharmacy. He didn’t even give me a receipt for my medication. Once he dismissed me, I knew I had to report this. I walked out completely insulted and in tears. This is certainly not how I expected NTC Point Loma’s staff to be like. As a military spouse with my husband on deployment who should be treated like everyone else, I felt completely attacked by window clerk #1’s behavior."
