"1. Machines for ultrasounds are 26 years old. We checked. Very old equipment and you can definitely tell. 2. They only accept cash and has to be exact change. 3. They attempted to make me sign a blanket consent form before even being seen by a doctor, giving them permission to use forceps and other interventions for birth without any conversation. 4. They called me to tell me that they need me to pay $168 but somehow, the BILLING department couldn’t tell me what they were charging me for. Just said it was my deductible, and neglected to say that they actually billed my insurance nearly $400 for an appointment where no labs or procedures were done. I attempted to ask for an itemized bill or some sort of explanation for the charge, but even though they obviously sent the bill to my insurance, they couldn’t tell me what they billed my insurance FOR. Instead, they talked over me and got offended that I asked what it was for. Stating that they “were giving a courtesy call to remind you that we need that in cash” she wouldn’t let me speak, was unprofessional, and just plain rude. Idk what they think a courtesy call is, but saying that people owe you money but not explaining why isn’t a courtesy."
"Rude doctor. Male doctor doesn’t understand to make his female patient feel comfortable enough to trust him first before any procedure occurs. Kept inching towards the door as he asked important questions. Made me feel stupid for what “regular” means to me versus what it means to him. Never going to a male gynecologist. They don’t understand."
"Had to change my rating. I still stand by the statement that the ultrasound tech in the office is phenomenal. Although I was pending a procedure since December it was being dragged out for no reason. My insurance suggested I file a grievance due to the wait time. When I did the office decided they’d no longer see me. I had to request and pick up my medical records which were incomplete. Extremely unprofessional. If you are a reoccurring paycheck you’re wonderful but if you speak out even knowing the severity of your issues they abandon their patients. Guess the doctors oath doesn’t mean anything, let me guess because of COVID right?"
"If I could I would give them zero stars. I had made an appointment for Wednesday of last week and they called me the day of when I was already on my way there and cancelled. I rescheduled for this Tuesday and they called me Monday telling me I had to reschedule again due to an emergency. So there I go reschedule once again for Wednesday. Wednesday comes and I go in and they wouldn't even attend me. Mind you I had an appointment and I do have insurance. They proceed to tell me that if I wanted to be supervised by the doctor I have to pay $250 dollars, so I tell her thats fine. She then tells me to hold on while she goes to check with the doctor and comes back saying that it would actually be $2,500 and that I would have to pay it all upfront and in cash.... Talk about a skam! These people are only after your money. There customer service is horrible. Be prepared to reschedule and to walk up 2 flights of stairs just to get to the clinic. Which when your pregnant can be difficult. I would never recommend attending this clinic!"
"Some of the practices here are flat out illegal. During the insanely long weight for an appointment (despite the fact I showed up early for it) a women circulated the waiting room soliciting; asking everyone waiting whether they were pregnant and then, if they admitted they were, pushing vouchers for the nearby Big Lots. The second red flag came when the receptionist excitedly declared, "Ooo! You have the good insurance!" when I gave her my completed forms. I should have left right then, but unfortunately I'd already been waiting for over two hours and was coming dangerously close to another appointment I had to make. This was the wrong choice, because I not only missed that appointment, but was diagnosed for high blood pressure for the first and last time in my life due to anxiety over doing so. (This has since been corrected, but NOT by this office.) On top of everything else, they wanted to charge me upwards of $400.00 for Xrays and blood tests for a single pill. I was forced to walk out. The only good part is only hours later I was able to get a prescription for the exact medicine I needed from online for a grand total of ONLY $25.00... Nowhere NEAR these guys frankly ludicrous quote of $400.00."
