"I hate giving out reviews like this but I have to let people know who are reading this. If you are young like me then this place will treat you with zero respect. I was originally really excited to become an egg donor and working with Lucina, however after a month my first egg coordinator informed me that I would be switching locations to this center, which at first i thought was weird but I kept going along with it. I had seen a psychologist that they informed me to do a little background check on me with Bryman counseling. At first it was going well until this psychologist seemed to wanting to get more out of me to fit her profile on me. I explained certain details of my life and family and explained why, she then kept pushing for answers that were false and wrote them down. After that they told me to get off birth control and after that I would start my shots and then retrieval process would start. I was ready waiting for my natural period to start. Then they said I needed to see a gentic counselor and proceeded to tell me that they have never had to do this with anyone and was labeled as “medical reasons”. What a way to make me feel good. I asked them if I could see another psychologist since the previous one seemed to write down anything she wanted. I was denied for my request. After seeing the genetic counselor and being off my birth control dealing with cramps. They read my report (which I haven’t even seen yet) and decided to cancel my cycle and said I cannot re apply to this facility. They lead me on for months. I requested to talk to the medical team myself and they denied without giving any explanation just saying they denied me due to certain health risks and “medical reasons” I don’t even have and have evidence to back up by my personal physician's. Instead of reaching out they decided to just keep reading my reports and not tell me anything and then later blame it on having adhd which they knew from the beginning and still kept me on as a donor. I had blood work done, evaluations, test and more and NOT once have they given me access to any of my records until I just asked for it in the end. Horrible experience with the medical team. My egg coordinators were lovely and kind and very respectful and responsive with my needs and concerns. Unfortunately because of this experience I am getting my lawyer involved."

Obviously we are coming here because we've had a tough go at fertility and family planning, have a million and one questions, etc. However, the staff at Coastal Fertility is incredibly empathetic and always ready to lend an ear, crying shoulder or answer any questions we may have (no matter how silly!)
