Reviews
"First time doing any physical therapy, this location’s staff are some of the most encouraging and supportive people I’ve encountered through my medical journey. At every turn, someone was ready to help answer my questions and they all kept me in the loop as we moved through building my recovery. I was talked through my posture and tricks/tips to work with each exercise in detail. I’m genuinely appreciative of the people working at this location, trying to work through any pain is a difficult task and they all played a huge part in helping me feel comfortable and educating me on how to move forward."
"Staff is amazing. LACHITA, JENIFER AND AUDREY ARE GREAT. My results and experience with Optimum amazing."
"All the staff there is absolutely amazing and I absolutely recommend this place to anyone in need of some physical therapy. Even if you’re not in need of therapy and just want relaxation and you come across this review, please go check them out. You will not regret it."
"This place deserves a zero star. I made an appointment with them over 2 weeks ago. Prior to making the appointment they had to check my insurance eligibility and it was confirmed that I was eligible. The day before my appointment, they cancelled it because they told me my PPO was not accepted. My wife who is under my insurance was a patient, so I really don't understand their issue. First of all, why is Optimum Care so incompetence to wait till the day before my appointment to perform additional checks. Secondly, I work for the #1 US exporter company and my PPO plan has never been rejected by any out of network medical care. I understand that I'm responsible for any payment that exceeds the out of network max benefit. I called my insurance, and they 100% confirmed that I have out of network benefits. I asked my insurance representative to call Optimum to see what they needed. I was told they requested a letter to confirm my benefits, so my insurance send them the letter they had requested. I waited a while for a call from Optimum to re-instate my appointment and never got the call. I ended up calling them late in the afternoon because my cancelled appointment was for the following day. When I called they told me the letter in insufficient. At this point I was really pissed. Not only they didn't call to let me know there are still have a problem, they should have been specific when requesting the information they needed when speaking to the insurance representative. In fact, they didn't even bother calling back the insurance representative that provided the letter and work out the issue. Optimum was expecting me to do their job. This is the most I had to do to justify my insurance just to keep an appointment. As a patient dealing with medical issues, the last thing I want is to deal with is coordinating my insurance approval. This company needs to get better front office help because they are incompetent. I don't write reviews but this company got me so upset I had to let potential customers know about the problem I had. Last point is that I was provided a reference number by Optimum regarding their discussion with my insurance company that drove them to cancel my appointment. When I provided the reference number to my insurance rep, they indicated that it was for a different person but could not go further due to patient privacy law. This leads to believe that Optimum mixed my insurance with another person and cancelled my appointment by mistake. When I brought this up with Optumum, they were silence and could not give me any explanation."
