"We headed out on a morning expedition along with our 2 kids aged 7 & 9... WOW, what an adventure - It is literally one of the highlights of our lives so far! From the offset Stacie was so fun, personable and knowledgeable - she really engaged the kids so well too. Captain Neil's enthusiasm was contagious! The first animal we found was a 35ft humpback whale and you could hear the excitement in the teams' voices as he tracked this beautiful creature, and got us to about 10 metres of it. We then headed on to see a fin whale, some sea lions, then a pod of 12 coastal bottle nosed dolphins who played with the catamaran as we stood over them on the netting... It's hard to describe how fun this was to close the trip out! Thank you for taking us on the trip of a lifetime!"
"Amazing experience setting off from gorgeous Dana Point we had great weather with calm seas. We didn’t see any whales but we did sea lots of common dolphins and a pair of coastal bottlenose on the way back. Staff were really friendly professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!"
"Booked for my boyfriend's birthday and what a gift for the both of us! We were on the Manute'a with an amazing, informed crew that included a marine biologist by the name of Stacie. The boat was great and fit all of us passengers well where we could view from different areas without being in each others way. We were extremely lucky with the weather that we had pure sunshine the entire time. Saw so many common dolphins and a whale spotter tipped off our captain about a couple of gray whales that we were lucky to see them breach quite a few times. It was a spectacular experience that I will be doing again with my family next time."
"I absolutely loved this!!!!!! I was finally able to go whale watching and this experience did not disappoint at all!!!! My group saw two blue whales and many dolphins and seals! On top of that, the crew members were amazingly informative and friendly. This was a once in a lifetime experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it for all tourists."
"Perfect way to spend a morning. Sunshine, dolphins & friendly skippers had our 3 families w/ 4 little ones smiling and excited from the moment we stepped aboard. Captain Alex warmly greeted us and made a great effort to find as much sea life as possible. We were able to ride along with two species of dolphin pods (one pod of nearly 1k) but didn't luck into any whales. Hannah (2nd skipper) intermittently gave interesting informative facts about the animals and ocean and happily fielded questions. Both Alex and Hannah seemed to enjoy their responsibilities and made for a great time on the water. 10/10 would recommend."
