Hurdle Hearing & Audiology

"This Audiologist does not follow Medicare rules. They insist on a referrel from doctor, when my disease has hearing loss over years which means i get free hearing exam every 12 months. They want a referrel still, even though they know this. I am also filing a complaing with Medicare for a provider that doesnt follow rules. Soon they wont be able to take Medicare because they are either incompetent or ignorant., I asked if they knew the rule and refuse to follow and they said they know it."

"My experience with Hurdle Hearing was very bad and I will never do business with them. I had to leave one message after another before I was able to get through to them, and the person I spoke to was very rude and would not listen to me--a definite drawback in a place that deals with the hearing-impaired--and kept interrupting me until I had to essentially tell her to shut up and listen. Even after that I was unsatisfied with the level of service and decided to take my business elsewhere. I definitely give them a negative rating and do not recommend anyone going there."

"Doc is nice, but don't expect to get an appointment once they have sold you your product. Your aids need to be adjusted sometimes several times once you get them. My Dad has had his for 4-5 months now and has only been able to get one adjustment. Their appointments are 4+ weeks out. My Dad had to cancel his appointment to get an emergency transfusion and they put him off for another month. Find a provider that is committed to making sure your aids work for you in a timely fashion. Sadly, this is not that place."
