"Light sleepers beware!! Absolutely the worst location and facility for a sleep lab. Is located in an old renovated home on Broad St. just a block away from Libertine Brewing. At night, throngs of drunks come by the sleep lab, screaming, throwing bottles, laughing, peeing in the bushes and usual idiot behavior. In addition, the building creaks, pops and groans throughout the night as the heat and/or AC comes on/off or the wind blows. Crappy location, old facility, noise. The result of study is a one page document that the MD scans over and gives some short recommendations. You never get to talk to the Sleep specialist MD, ask questions or get answers as the one page report just gets faxed to your doctor. One good point... Jim Francis, the technician was excellent."
"Showed up for an appointment, patients waiting outside. No one in the office, left after 30 minutes. Rescheduled, and told scheduler maybe we should do an afternoon appointment since the last time office was closed at 10:00 am. So made appointment #2, scheduled for 1:30 pm. Showed up, ground hog day…..No one there again, waited 15 minutes and left. This is not a professional establishment. Will be asking my DR. to refer me elsewhere. Don’t waste your time !"
"1/16/2024: I was told this was a hotel like setting and your printout specifically says the patient will have a bathroom designated for patients use only. The hotel setting was far from that reminding me of a very low end hotel and the bathroom shared. There are six patient rooms. The room had a brownish wall to wall carpet covered with an ill-fitting mismatched area rug in blue, grey, beige that crawled up the baseboard and had a very large wave not laying flat. The slate grey curtains, covering the white paper blinds, looked somewhat new but had never been ironed to get all the wrinkles out. The chair was a faux leather look with both sides of the seat peeling showing the underlayment. The linens on the bed were of the lowest quality, two flat pillows, one peach blanket with another camel colored one at the foot of the bed which was old and didn't look particularly clean. The bed was on a raised metal frame on which a platform was placed approximately two inches thick wrapped in a black fabric where the seams wire splitting explosing the fraying of the fabric and it appeared the mattress did not fit the platform as there was a ledge of approximately two inches that I put the heals of my feet on. The vertical window trim had an inch gap with horizontal cuts separating the continuous trim that was covered with paint alone. To say the least, I was very disappointed with this facility and the unprofessional atmosphere. A medical facility should have the appearance of cleanliness and sterile looking, not looking like it was outfitting from garage sales and unclean surfaces. The wear and tear look gives one the feeling of uncleanliness, not to mention the mismatch of everything in the room. My expectation was it would be a SPA like setting with high quality bedding, nicely, but sparsely decorated, and appealing to the eye. I find it a surprise that this facility would be recommended by physicians in the area."
"The sleep study room was bright enough to read in, due to outdoor lighting shining in the window next to the bed. The lights turned off at midnight, and then back on around 4am. The staff said they had no control over the lights even though it was the porch light to the building we were in. The walls and doors were thin, and I was kept up by screaming children in another room. I was advised that my co-pay would be less for another study, but not offered a complimentary restudy or a refund of what I paid, not to mention what my insurance paid."
