"The Noor Clinic is amazing! The staff were very welcoming, and pretty funny too! Everyone seemed to be happy to be working at the clinic. The wait time was short. Dr. Elizabeth Cartozian was amazing! She spent more time with me in 1 visit, than the last 5 visits at my previous Primary Care Doctor. She listened, made suggestions, and didn't make me feel stupid that I was behind on my health while trying to better myself. The diabetes Doctor was super cool, and he had a lot of info for me. So, THANK YOU to everyone at Noor for helping me out when I didn't have any other options. I had lost my insurance and was waiting for the new insurance to become active. They still took me in as a patient until my new insurance kicked in. They were very helpful in getting me an appointment as soon as possible. I hope one day I will be able to give back to this wonderful clinic that helped me in a time of need!"
"This clinic is changing lives for the better, and doing so purely funded through the generosity of the community who provides donations, and a few grants here and there. What this clinic offers is medical, dental, and vision care to anyone uninsured or who doesn’t qualify for insurance. The staff and volunteers are fantastic. Nice people who actually care."
"NOOR medical clinic has become very pathetic and sad. Certainly not what it used to be or advertised. Too much discrimination, prejudice and uncaring under the new CEO, David Parro. This is Not a Clinic you would want to give a Grant or Donate $ to! Unless you want to continue to support the above while this incompetent CEO gets paid to stay home and run off the last of the patient caring supportive competent staff."
"I was referred to to Noor by French Hospital because, I couldn't afford a colonoscopy. The doctor there told me I didn't need one (I was 47). I said, that the hospital said I did because, there was an obstruction in my bowel. They told I would be put on a list, and have never received a call from them after several calls. As a result I almost died at the beginning of the summer. French Hospital (Dignity Health) stepped in a month ago, and funded a colectomy, otherwise I wouldn't be here. I think the Noor Clinic is a horrible medical facility, and they don't really care about people who are in need."
"So glad I came across this opportunity in SLO, All the people that work here are very helpful and friendly and it's a Godsend for those trying to keep up with their health care and unable to afford the traditional method. I would highly recommend anyone needing assistance with health concerns calling to make an appointment. Thank you Dr Nooristani and his colleagues for the tremendous opportunity in this challenging world with typically no alternatives to treatment except the emergency room. Also anyone wishing to volunteer, especially health care workers please call to see if they need extra hands on and pay it forward to help those in need."
