"Staff is very helpful. If there’s ever a problem, all you have to do is speak to the person in charge and they are willing to help and make things right. I would recommend them to any veteran that needs any type of medical and they live in the Oakland Bay area."

"Horrible service, unprofessional nurses, and physicians that have absolutely no respect for time. Have had multiple instances where I’ll make an appointment a month in advance, show up at the appointment on time and end up waiting over 2 hours to be seen because the doctor can’t pull himself away from a conversation. Unfortunately there is no winning here. Worth the drive to ANY other VA location."

"I have read these four and five star reviews of the Oakland VA clinic and Google needs to remove them from their platform for making false statements. Because I have been going to the Oakland VA outpatient clinic since 1992, and I have never experienced satisfactory service there, the medical staff is very incompetent and they are the rudest staff at any of the VA clinics. And they’re only good for is prescription refills and that is it.."

"I've heard horror stories and experienced a few at other VA facilities around the country. Oakland VA is a far different story. I've had Kaiser, a ton of different insurance companies and HMOs over the years, but my best care has consistently been through the Oakland VA clinic. Martinez has also been outstanding. I am very grateful for the care I get there!"
