"Doctors' were great and very helpful but reception needs some additional training. I had appointments at 10:15 and 11:30 for my VA Compensation and Pension exams. After my 10:15, I was told by the receptionist that I can wait there or I can leave and comeback for my 11:30. I left and came back at 11:15 and sat in the lobby. 11:55 and my appointment hasn't started, so I go to the front desk to see what is going on. They tell me that the psychologist is running late and they have another patient still. OK, waiting longer is no problem but they probably should have mentioned something. That was 8/11. I felt that there was something I forgot to tell psychologist and asked for the Psychologist's contact info, so he can maybe add some information on my claim. I get told, they can't add anything and I will need to contact the VA. Telling me to contact the VA is pretty vague since it is a huge department of the US government. Eventually, I said OK, thanks. They just hang up; no thank you for calling, no good byes, no have a nice day, just click without saying anything. The doctor's were very helpful and professional though. These VA C&P appointments can be very stressful since some doctors talk to you like you have done something wrong and treat the patients like criminal. These doctors were very friendly and nice and made it easy for me to talk to them. I give the doctors a 5 star review while giving reception a 2 star review."
