"I have nothing but good to say and certainly no complaints about this great clinic and hospital ! If 1M CLINIC cannot directly help you they will refer you to the proper clinic which is almost always in the same hospital campus. You can get all of your care done here at ZSFGH in other words. All the doctors use the same computer system at ZSFGH,so there is less chance of mix-ups,problems and headaches. They've always treated me well and they've done quite a bit of work on me without any problems ! They aren't perfect but they are great where it counts !"
"Brought my mom, who’s having chemotherapy, to her appointment at 1M to see her nutritionist. We arrived 10-15 minutes early and went through the whole check-in process. After 40 minutes of waiting, I decided to go to the front desk to ask why it’s taking so long. The receptionist assured me she’ll message the nutritionist again. After 60 minutes of waiting, my mom said she’s not feeling well so let’s go home. I went up to tell the receptionist to cancel the appointment but she tells me the nutritionist called out sick this morning. The receptionist went on to tell me she tried looking for me and my mom but couldn’t find us, when we were sitting 10ft away from the receptionist desk. Can someone tell me why my mom wasn’t contacted that morning of? And why she was allowed to check-in and wait an hour for her nutritionist who wasn’t there. *update edit* Best believe I called for two days in a row to finally reach the right people to make a formal complaint to. After making the complaint, my mom and I didn’t really think too much of it. We just wanted to be heard because of how many times ZSFG made a mistake and my mom had to deal with the consequences. Two weeks later, I received a phone call from the manager who wanted to hear directly from me what happened & formally apologize. He claims he’ll make sure there’ll be better communication on their part and avoid any future miscommunication the best they can. He even went ahead to send my mom a letter in the mail detailing our conversation and to apologize again. He didn’t have to, but he did. We appreciate him hearing us. However, my review and rating stays the same because I want ZSFG to take accountability so future patients know, and don’t have to go through what my mom went through."
"Had a great visit at the clinic, my initial appointment wait was over a month, but they called me back later in the week with a last minute appointment from a cancellation. Process was quick and doctor saw me on time. Doctor spent ample time with me answering my numerous questions. All in all, quite a good experience, especially for public health care!"
"Doctor doesn't check mail box for over a week which means I have to wait to receive needed imaging for an injury I have been dealing with for months. I did all the work for the doctor and provided her with all the numbers she needed, all she needed to do was fax the order. Also, the clinic number doesn't go to the clinic it is a call center. Advised to go into the clinic to get to speak to someone that can help and make sure doctor gets the message. Really sad :/ How long should a patient have to wait for the doctor to follow-up on their health care ?"
