"I have lived in Lake County for 33 years.. Suffering with 24/7 stomach pain.. I was never properly diagnosed until the last 5 years before leaving Lake County. My pastor recommended Dr. Warren. He found out through his specialist that I have 3 or 4 horrible stomach problems. I moved away 4 years ago. As of last year. I now travel almost 3 hours to visit Dr. Warren. He saved my life ! God bless Dr. Warren and his wonderful staff Winney and the gang."
"I am going to be frankly honest here . I have seen Dr. Warner multiple times over the last six months. I am a 68 year old male psych nurse with 43 years work experience (I have a large knowledge and experience) base.I also have multiple chronic medical issues.I agree wholeheartedly with Mr.McClains review, my experience with this doctor is very similar.I have been pushed through appointments in 10/15 minutes. On initial appointment I was not given adequate time to explain my medical history . Subsequent visits have been no more fruitful. I believe this dr. Is only interested in ordering Rx meds, Multiple test and lab work. I need to see a gastroenterologist (A daunting task as Adventist health has Only one on staff for all of Lake and Napa counties.). The issue here is I believe I have a gastric ulcer . In this instance a primary care doc may order a urea breath test that could rule out gastric/peptic ulcer. This doc has shown no initiave with this issue (too much work /responsibility ?). Thus I have experienced pain/discomfort for 6 months without treatment.I will see a doc in St. Helena for a Upper GI and Colonoscopy as well as a urea breath test to r/o ulceration/ cancer. Financial reimbursement plays a major role here ad Medicare/Medical pay is grossly inadequate. I also see a cardiologist @ St.Helena Napa Valley as opposed to Lake County which is underserved and cannot recruit /retain highly competent MD’s/DO’s . I would recommend Pts literally go south to Bay Area for good medical care. After reading Mr.McClains and Mr.Yavelows reviews I have had the same experience with Dr.Warner . This man doesn’t listen to his patients (seemingly doesn’t care) and refers his Pts to other docs as he is uncaring, lazy, feckless, incompetent ? . There is no there, there with this man . He is probably in the Lake County backwater because he is unemployable and could not make it in private practice or being on staff @ Kaiser Permanente or other hospitals medical groups. This man is only a ‘Entertainer and of No substance .There is No God’s Love here as this is a clown show and a high volume Money Making Machine. Adventist Health has been a colossal waste of time for this 68 y.o. Man with need of competent care."
"Dr. Warner is compassionate, caring and listens to his patients with great respect. All of the staff is competent and good at managing a very full practice with efficiency and quality care. My husband and I are extremely appreciative of the professionalism with Adventist Health in Hidden Valley Lake."
"My experience with Dr. Warner is that his primary objective is getting patients in and out as quickly as possible. I stopped going to him several years ago because of this. When I found out that he had a new PA who I had heard great reviews about, I deiced to give this office another try (it is local and convenient). My experience with Dr. Parker was much better than with Dr. Warner. Dr. Parker at least listened and tried to understand the reason I was in need of a doctor. Unfortunately because Dr. Parker is a PA, I was forced to see Dr. Warner again recently because he is my "primary care" doctor. This visit reminded me why I stopped going in the first place. Dr. warner was with me in the exam room for less than 10 minutes and did nothing but refer me to see three other specialist."
"My experience of this doctor and office is that – like most insurance-based practices operating on this model – their primary objective is getting patients out of their way as quickly as possible. I never felt heard or understood by him, and "Sharing God's Love" was nothing but empty words, here (though Winnie, at the front desk, is great). In my experience, Dr. Warner is a poor listener and indifferent diagnostician, and he seems to be much more interested in entertaining people than actually providing insightful health care. If you need anything other than a prescription refill or referral to a specialist, this is not the doctor for you, imo."
