"Town house a (224) 4.5 star We really enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to friends and family and we will be back! My review would be 5 star if the patio had a little more privacy from the connecting rooms patio. The outdoor furniture on the patio was pretty worn and and had some staining, but still usable. Broken patio planter, reported to online chat. The partition separating our balcony from neighbors was falling over and basically non functional. I would highly recommend replacing with something more permanent adding more privacy from connecting patio. And something on the southern side of the patio separating it from the walkway that wraps around from the other side of the building. Weathered and torn transition strip going out patio door. Downstairs shower head had low pressure. Broken tile around toilet in upstairs bathroom. Most of this is very minor and none of it would keep me from recommending it or going back. And the price is very reasonable for what you get! Vacas's communication via text and email was very convenient. Sent door code the day before and even let us know our room was ready for check in an hour early. We ended up extending out stay an extra night. If it were available longer we probably would have stayed longer too"

"Very nice home and is updated. Was there for our mom’s 90th birthday and I wasn’t familiar with the area. Found the home roomy, CLEAN, reasonably priced based upon other listings, and centrally located to a lot of neat places. Washing machine and dryer - a bonus considering we were there for 6 days!!! I highly recommend."

"Perfect place to stay, especially if you have dogs. The home is older, but very well kept with new amenities. It met all of our needs. It’s close to everything. Having a couple of spots on the driveway is also nice. I will stay again. Thank you to owners and host for a nice stay at your property."

"We checked in on Friday to find the following. We tried calling VRBO, Airbnb, and the VRBO rental office in Gualala, no one picked up at the local office after we called multiple times. We had to drive into town to talk to someone on Sat. They sent some one out to try and fix some of the issues but they could only fix a few as noted below. 1. Main blind in the bedroom was broken hanging down on one side, up on the other. We had to tie up the one side but have no privacy. (Not fixed) 2. The bathroom faucet only has hot water, nothing comes out when you turn cold on. (Not fixed) 3. Pretty much all of the dishes were dirty. Lipstick and marks on most of the wine glasses, pots and frying pans were sticky and dirty. (We had to wash almost all the dishes in the kitchen) 4. Kitchen sick faucet was broken and when you turned it on sprayed all over the kitchen walls counter and ceiling. We had to use the bathroom sick upstairs because the one down stairs only had hot water. (They used epoxy to try and fix it, I am concerned as epoxy is carcinogenic and not food safe) 5. One bedroom had almost not lights, on Friday we had to use flashlights at night. (When we went to the office they gave us a lamp) 6. In one of the upstairs bedrooms all the light bulbs were out of the fixtures and on a shelf. We put them back in but then discovered when you turn the light switch off all those lights stay on. We searched the room extensively for any other switch and found none. So we have to take the light bulbs out every night before we go to bed. (Not fixed) 7. The TV in the living room does not turn on at all. (They checked it and confirmed that yes the TV does not work, they did not fix this) 8. There was only 1 dish towel and 1 very dirty potholder. (They gave us some more towels we we went to the office, they could not provide pot holders). 9. The wood floors were so dirty the bottoms of our feet and socks turned black. ( they did not fix this) We are paying roughly $700 per night and the listing for this house does not match what we received in a number of significant ways. When we went into the office they said for all of this they might be able to refund our $300+ Cleaning fee. I told them that for all of these things of witch many they could not fix we expected a refund of at least 50-70%. They said they would follow back up with us. I told them that I was unable to reach them by phone before and would prefer not to have to drive to the office to talk to them. So I asked for a number that would work. They gave me one and after not hearing back from them in 3 days I called the number 8 times over the course of the day and no one picked up. So our only option will be to go into the office again."

"Be aware of any potential charges they didn’t disclose upfront. Terrible service. In terms of cleaning fees, we paid hundreds upfront. We left the house with good condition, put back all the toys, put dish into dish washer and cleaned trash, etc. Still, they claim the home is in terrible condition and wanted to charge us more. Please think about the extra cost you are going to pay before booking with this company."
