"This building used to be an office where my dad used to work I remember playing ping pong in this building and making memories running around with the family pet. It's bittersweet that it's a health center. A few things, Extremely long wait times I would go in for an appointment at 10:15 and I wouldn't get out until 11:45 for example doctor wouldn't come in until 11:00. Then again they're extremely busy. They offer free mental health groups here which is good. I do wish reception was better at passing along messages. I would have my medical supply company fax them paperwork and I found out that they faxed it a month ago and I was wondering why I wasn't getting my supplies. I think it's unacceptable that faxes are not being taken care of in a timely matter. I also went in there to get my medical records which before covid they printed them out for me within 10 minutes now I waited over an hour for someone to print them because they got distracted. More recently, they made me fill out a medical release form and said it would take 2 weeks to approve. That was false, I walked in the next day and they gave them to me right away. It's a hit or miss with reception you really need to know which department to go into to get what you need. If one department says no the other one will say yes. It takes some footwork I've realized. They need to stop hiring such young receptionists and get people in there with more experience. The lady at the blood lab is excellent she's really nice, amazing woman I've known her for years and she's very helpful a lot of people don't know this but there is a quest lab inside of Petaluma Health Center. Just be careful that they don't lose your faxes from different doctors and medical supply company keep calling and bothering them. The one thing I have wondered is now they are documenting phone calls and I'm wondering if they're charging my insurance for me calling into the health center for asking a question. I need to investigate that. Reception is the biggest issue and the wait times in office."

"PHC use to be a good place to be treated for medical issues but over the last year they have really gone down hill to the point that I'm not even sure of how they manage to function properly. The communication between the Dr and patient is terrible, the ability to get through to your Dr or even a department is nearly impossible, the treatments they offer mostly never cure or treat the issues one is seen for, the Dr is always in such a hurry to get to the next appointment that they don't listen or will even ignore my concerns and leave before addressing the issue. I have been dealing with the same issue for over 3 months and still haven't gotten a straight answer or a treatment that is effective in curing my problem, I've seen 5 Drs who said that my issue is nothing to bring concern yet they haven't been able to treat it in a way to heal it or even make it go away. The one star is for their acupuncture Dept which is awesome Zack B is amazing but the rest of the hospital deserves a zero star rating if I could give them that low of a score because the only thing they're good at is wasting people's time and money."
"My experience here at PHC has been top notch. Two providers in 6 years that I have been a patient there. Both providers were consistent, professional and attentive to my concerns and medical needs. The convenience of having a pharmacy, lab, dental clinic, social services and vision all in one place make for a thumbs up experience. The administrative and front end employees make the experience routine and seamless. With a few exceptions. Like any experience with an institutional service like this one. You may encounter an occasional glitch or an extra visit. Most recently the conversion of the portal has left some of my information and records incomplete and slow to post. But overall I think they do an outstanding job!"
"Unfortunately never got past the receptionist. Tried to make an appointment over the phone, after a wait time of over 30 minutes the receptionist told me that only another receptionist can make the appointment for the doctor I needed and that they will call me back. I asked them to call multiple times if I won't pick up as I have problematic phone coverage, they were quite rude and impatient and never called me back."
