As a 501(c)3 non-profit community-based Federally Qualified Health Center, West County Health Centers are dedicated to offering comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral health, and other specialty services to our patients. We are a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and deemed Public Health Service employees under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n).

"The after hour service never let my physician know of my medical issue. The doctor who was covering for my regular doctor, would not call in a blood test, even though my last test was in 2018. She did not hear my concern that my eyes were probably infected and I wanted to know if it was a virus or a bacterial infection. No tests done and she continued to assert that it was an allergic reaction. She prescribed allergy drops which I did tell her, I did have and did not need. A doctor need to listen to her/his patients and hear their concerns and questions. Patients know their body and needs. Now, my eyes are worse and I need to look for an ophthalmologist and start all over again. My eyes are unfortunately worse now. So disappointed with the lack of true care, follow up and bedside manners."
