"The staff was super friendly and helpful but the amount of time it took for my appointment to be done, was way over the amount of time it should have really taken. And I was the only person there. Hence the 4 stars."
"Good place, to take you pets, to provide the best care for them."
"I enjoyed interacting with most of the staff there the few times I went. The veterinarian himself was aloof and rough with my kitten, however. My grandma also told me that he recommended euthanasia for her rescued kitten who had eye problems. Luckily she did not go for that. The kitten is happy and healthy today and gets around just like any other cat."
"My puppy had been sick for about 3 days when we took him to see a vet. He had been vomiting for a while and refused to eat the day before we took him to the vet. As soon as we called Valley Veterinary Clinic, they were able to take him in the same day which was great mostly because other vets were not able to see him until two weeks later. He was attended but no diagnostics were done on him other than the doctor just checking his heartbeat and temperature. The doctor came to the conclusion that my dog had an intestine infection and prescribed him pills for infection and control of vomiting. An hour after we left the clinic, my dog refused to take the pills and vomited. We called the vet; they told us to come in again and they will give him a shot to control his vomiting. After Dr. Plumb had given my dog his shot, he was put on the floor and that is when I noticed my dog was bleeding from where the shot was given; I brought it to the doctor's attention, and he did nothing. I went out into the waiting room and asked if I can get something to wipe my dog's blood off and they kindly wiped it off for me. Thinking that the shot was going to replace the price of the pills they gave him, I walked out. I was told to come back in and pay and they told me it was because I still have the pills at home; understandable so I paid. My dog had stopped vomiting for a while, but I had a feeling this was something more serious than just an intestine infection. I took my dog to the animal hospital in Santa Rosa where diagnostics were run and was told that my puppy tested positive for parvovirus. My puppy had to be hospitalized for 4 days and luckily, he is back home with us, but he would not have been if I didn't trust my gut. The staff at Valley Veterinary Clinic is full of kind-hearted people. I have taken my dogs there before and was always treated great. I just wish that my puppy could have been correctly diagnosed and I wouldn't have had to pay around $200+ on useless medication."
"Dr. Plumb & his wonderful crew have been helping my pets since I was in middle school (a very long time ago!) He recently helped me with my beloved kitties. Always professional, kind & they really go the extra mile. Fair & low prices. 10/10 recommend!"
