"Room was the best part, it was clean. Service? Ha! No. I wanted to ask the person who checked us in if everyone she knows is miserable. They are and they are scared. The shower was so weak that the spray didn't even keep you warm. I was not happy and I am not one to leave reviews but this one was important."

"I was set to arrive at the motel on a Friday evening, flying in from NJ for work. Unfortunately, my flight to CA was delayed. When I found this out, I called the motel to inform them I would be late, definitely after midnight. I was told this was fine. When I finally arrived at LAX, got my rental after an hour delay and drove to the motel, it was 2:30 am. No one was there to check me in! The door was unlocked but no one was at the desk. I called multiple times and rang the bell. After 20 minutes, I left to find another hotel (thank you, Hilton). When I called Oak Park on Saturday to inquire about check in, I was told to call back. I called three times before I got the gentleman I spoke to the night before. He was rude and yelled at me for not arriving Friday night, even though I called. I canceled my Saturday might stay and asked for a refund because they had already charged my card. He refused to refund both nights and only refunded one. I will never stay here no matter what! If I could give zero stars...I would."

"Room was nice but extra calls from owner not so much. First for parking, apparently the marked spot where I was at was in the LOS of the cameras, i was asked to move which I did. Second the wake up call 30 mins before checkout was new to me. I suppose bc they charge should you stay over was the reason."

"I was a stranded motorist; had my vehicle’s starter go out. I knew no one within a 400-mi radius. The staff are friendly; the price is modest for the area; the rooms are spacious..and clean; it is located in an area that is pretty easy to access food and gas; and the units are all floor level..which is great. But don’t let the price put you off; this is a clean, safe place to stay! I was also impressed that I was required to do a forehead temperature-scan. In these crazy times, I found comfort knowing they were being vigilant in providing a safe place to stay. Thank you! The front desk lady, Patricia, went over and above helping me. She listened to my situation; helped me find a shop that was able to repair my vehicle, at a substantially less rate than the local dealership; and was just plain kind to me. I recommend this motel."

"My stay here had zero complaints until I checked out. A week prior I tried to make a reservation on their website and it kept giving me an error so after attempting this for about an hour I finally just called and was told that they would honor the online price which was quite a bit cheaper than the going rate. When I checked in, I didn’t realize what I had been charged. The next morning I noticed my receipt was about $30 more than it should’ve been. I brought this to the attention of Patricia at the front thinking it would be easily resolved and instead she started getting upset at me with her lame excuse of how she had apparently tried to call me to confirm my reservation the day of and I did not answer the phone call. A week prior making the reservation via the phone, I was told I had till the day before to call to cancel, otherwise I was good to go. I had no reason to cancel so I never called assuming everything was as I had been told when I agreed to it. Bottom line, she found away out of charging me the better deal that I had agreed to even though I had secured it a week prior. I was very disappointed. I was planning on making that my regular stay because other than that, the room was great. But I don’t like being lied to. All she had to do was charge me what had been agreed to and she would’ve had a regular customer, but apparently that wasn’t important to her."
