Motel 6 Arcadia, CA - Los Angeles - Pasadena Area

"Very clean for a motel 6, no bugs, everything worked, towels n bedding were clean and unstained. Coffee in the lobby, and they changed our room rt after we checked in as I am in a wheelchair and people were parked in front of the first room. They were very nice and accommodating. Love to travel with my pets and motel 6 always welcomed them. Located in the middle of gas, food, stores, parks and near the freeway. But it was very quiet."

"My dogs almost got bitten by an aggressive pit bull staying on the property, yet I was the one who got banned. Stayed here with my 2 dogs many times throughout the past few years whilst in the L.A. area on business. Never had a problem. But tonight, after making a reservation yesterday and driving all day today to get to this motel, I was told by the front desk gal that the manager banned me. The desk gal said the reason noted was "no leash and dog fight". What happened was the last time I stayed here there was a guest with an aggressive pit bull that kept lunging, growling and snarling at my setters. His dog was on a leash and my two were not. Soooo, the guest made a big fn' deal to the front desk about my two dogs not having leashes in order to distract from the fact that he brought an aggressive dog to the property. I have stayed there for years with my setters, and yeah, I let them off the leash to poop. Big deal. They can't poop while leashed. Anyway, it is extremely unprofessional for the manager to ban me, and not even bother to tell me about it until after I wasted my time driving there. I am just glad it is not the weekend, as I would have to pay for double for a room somewhere else on such short notice."

"I will never stay here again, and may not ever book Motel 6 again, if they cannot provide a non smoking first floor room to a handicapped senior guest/and her service dog. I had made my reservation 3 weeks before for a disablity room... I was told no non smoking rooms, unless I wanted second floor. I can't climb the stairs, there is no elevator!!.. The room was beyond disgusting, smelled like an ashtray.. I had to LEAVE and find another hotel.at great expense. I am supposed to get a refund in a few days. Worst experience EVER. The only way she said I would get a non smoking room was if I called the hotel directly. Motel 6 you have really really gone downhill. wow"

"Rooms are very clean. Nice furniture it’s cheap but nice. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbor talking. Room smelled slightly of cigarette smoke. Biggest complaint is the thin walls. You gotta be a deep sleeper! Staff was very nice and friendly"

"Good only to spend few nights and not having huge expectations. Quality very poor compared to what they ask per night. The room we were assigned had a very bad smell of urine! in the washroom there was smell of cigarets coming through the ceiling vent. We decided to ask for another room and the guy at the reception told us he would have phoned back next morning, I’m not sure which morning he meant because we still haven’t received any call after a week. Two stars just because it was in a convenient location for us and quiet area. By the way, the rooms are not quite similar to the ones posted by the motel, photoshop makes everything look nice"
