"Nikki (I apologize if I misspelled) was very helpful and knowledgeable when I went in to look for a pair of shoes for work. I ended up leaving with two pairs. I have to say that the negative reviews I read before entering this shop did not deter me at all. I am sorry that I have not been there before today! While I was trying on shoes I overheard her on the phone and directly with multiple customers. She is straight to the point and doesn't sugar coat anything. She told a woman in the store three times that something in particular could not be accomplished with the type of shoe that she brought in....THREE times. Was she rude about it? No, she just explained why it could not be done. Just because you WANT something done, doesn't mean it's possible. No one wants to listen. That's really what's wrong with society today. Everyone wants everything and they want it now. A little patience, understanding, and appreciation goes a long way."

"Brought in a pair of my grandfather's boots and told them I was looking to restore them. Paid $150 for new soles and was told that a cleaning comes with them. Workmanship seems quality on the soles, but the 'cleaning' I got was weak, the laces weren't even taken off to clean the tongue. Given the price I paid, I would shop around a little more for cobbling services if I were to do it again."
