"Hi I was here on a Sunday when busy and all staff was very nice and friendly and helpful and it actually was a nice experience going to a hospital with all staff are very nice and they got me seen and done within 45 mins and very glad I came here and I'll be coming back wherever I need to go to the hospital again. "Words are not enough to explain the connection I had with the staff in the rehabilitation center here, not only where they loving and caring, but my stay here is as if I were with a family member they care for me and make sure that I had everything that I needed, and ensure that I would make it on my own after rehab There's nothing bad to say about this place. The only bad thing that I can say about this place with that they were too nice. I would like to give a special thanks to Saundra. I would also like to give a special thanks to Miss Karon I would like to also give a special things to Donna. "This hospital has saved my life not only one time and I really appreciate it. I'm an Alta Bates patient, but we don't have it in San Leandro. Last time I went there was in February for a pain on my left lower belly, so they found out I got appendicitis and they did surgery because I asked them to take it out. Seems like surgeons come from outside, not sure, but they really saved me from that thing before ruptured. The hospital is part of highland hospitals, so don't expect a 5 stars stay, and even though, it's clean and comfy. The emergency doctors are awesome and compassionate, it was a curly hair doctor I remember. The only thing I found a little difficult was a letter for my work, but the administrator helped me getting it. I'm for ever grateful to have this place in San Leandro."

"Bathrooms are dirty! Sat im ER for 4hours. Waiting for my daughter.. Security guard was nice. But it was a Friday they were very busy..Never did I see anyone go in clean the bathrooms. I mentioned it to the staff. One person said what should I do about it. Seriously I work for AHS. Where I work the bathrooms are definitely cleaner then what these bathrooms were. Even the waiting room was dirty. Hospital should not be dirty.. I sat in my car. The first security guard female was nice. Second security guard male was rude. Kept talking to everyone accept the people coming in."

"The acute rehab center at San Leandro Hospital is amazing. The therapist are very skilled and caring. The nurse and cna staff were kind and diligent with our care. Our doctor consultations were insightful and time was taken to listen to and answer our questions. We couldn’t have managed our recovery without the help of our social worker. She spent so much time advocating for us and setting up services we needed. Patient meals were really really good. Highly recommend this center for acute rehab."
