"AVOID IF YOU HAVE MEDICAL-CAL. I came in with a broken tooth and was told the only option was to extract this tooth. I agreed and had it extracted and it was a horrific experience. The dentist was really struggling to get this tooth out and spent 10 minutes yanking on it which was very traumatising, then when he gets it out he hits my top teeth with his tool on the way out (luckily nothing broke). The hole left behind was so big, it looks like he was trying to get the tooth out by moving it side to side, when I went to another dentist they were shocked to see the mess left behind. After having the tooth removed I went to 3 other dentists to get a second opinion on the future work recommended to me, I was told by all 3 dentists that yes my tooth was in a bad way but it could have been saved and not extracted. I am now left with a huge gap in my mouth, I was not told that if I do not magically fish out the money for a implant that my teeth will start moving, I also was not told how to keep the area clean, was not given a syringe or anything like that. I feel like I had no idea what was going on, I was not advised well about the money needed and the effects that will happen after extraction. After also reading other reviews it is clear they extracted it due to insurance coverage with medi-cal only covering extraction and fillings. This tooth could have been saved and crowned instead of extracted."

"I applied for an appointment and they emailed me back very quickly and we set up an appointment within two days. They were very quick and responsive. I needed two wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Wu and his assistant did a fantastic job. The first tooth removal was so fast, it only felt like 5 minutes. The second one was a little more complicated therefore took longer. All the staff from the front desk, to the ones doing X-rays were professional and knew what they were doing."

"The experience was very impersonal. The cleaning was super rushed like she barely did anything. She didn’t thoroughly go over all my teeth and then just slapped fluoride on and said I was good to go. She spent about a minute on cleaning at the very end. She almost let me walk away without a cleaning at all until I asked about it. She was going about the whole process in a way that resulted in me getting sprayed in the face by saliva/water from her tools. My mom is a dental hygienist and I’ve been to another hygienist that was thorough. She seemed like she was still learning since she had to get help from a coworker/colleague when she was working on my cavity. This just wasn’t it… :/"

"I flew from LA to the Bay for a front dental implant procedure by Dr. Choi. Dr. Choi and his colleagues provided me fantastic care. Dr. Choi informed me of a couple potential complications in my upper jaw, and flexibly adapted the treatment plan. The other dental clinics that I visited prior to seeing Dr. Choi did not inform me of such complications. I’m very glad to have done my first complex procedure under the care of Dr. Choi."

"They are very timely and coordinated! I appreciate the call the day before to remind me of the appointment. The place is clean and they have cutting edge tech. Best of all, the dentists are courteous and personable."
