"Nice place with great variety of things to do but the lake smell is tough to handle."
"It's a nice campground to walk around, thats it. I camped out in a tent and the area was super crowded. the bathrooms were disgusting and someone literally pooped on the floor of one of the shower stalls, yup it was there the whole weekend. No clean up was done. A camper I met was gracious enough to provide me with the private code to use the beautiful, grand, luxurious RV shower stalls... the RV lot looked like a beautiful neighborhood. If your camping here come in an RV or don't bother coming at all, so gross."
"Not a bad place overall, but I would advise anybody planning to camp there in an RV to make sure that loud, partying tent campers won’t be parked next to you when you want peace and quiet for the weekend. We chose a spot with full hookups but did not notice on the site map that it wasn’t in a part of the park that prohibited tent-camping. So, guess who pulled up next to us around sunset on Friday night? Two carloads of twentysomething partiers with two run-down cars and a raggedy-looking popup trailer. Friday night wasn’t TOO bad, but they spent all day Saturday feebly attempting karaoke CC to their boom box, and continued well past the 10 pm quiet curfew… My wife and I didn’t say anything, stayed inside the RV most of the time, they didn’t ruin our weekend, but they also didn’t seem to care how much they were bothering others and we had the good fortune of getting stuck right next to them (there were NO other tent campers in our section of the park)… Again, not a bad place to stay, but watch who you get put next to…"
"Place is very unsafe. No police presence or enforcement rangers. Do not go here. Gate staff were friendly and helpful but that was the last employee I saw. No patrols. About 25% of lights are out. Restrooms are terrible. Toilets leaking sewage because they are not bolted down and seals have failed. Walls have hard water stains indicating that their cleaning method is just to hose them down. Showers have only a curtain and no privacy. A sign telling you not to use quarters on the showers was hand written on the wall in black marker. Showers aren't labeled so no way to know which token machine to use. And tokens are only sold up at the main office a quarter mile away. Campsite numbers are hard to find. And as is fairly typical with every campground the park signage was inadequate to navigate the park. Made the mistake of coming here on holiday. Place was filled with thumping music. Kids racing around in gas powered motor vehicles with no license or registration. Lots of TV's set up outside at campsites with lots of drunks shouting at them. Campers do not respect 10pm quiet time and camp staff does nothing about it. Do not come here."
