"I was very disappointed in Amar upholstery. They used to do excellent work, now it is mediocre. When the owner was involved in the work process, the end result was impeccable. Now it is so so. They changed the style of my sofa without my permission! They said they could refinish my chairs and dining table. Instead they just put a clear stain coat on my chairs and did not sand my table before staining it. The old stain bled through. It starting chipping. I had to dispose of the table after having it for over 40 years. (Yes. It was real wood). I would say the upholstery work is good, but the expectation has fallen. There needs to be more quality control."
