"While it's nice having another "Thrift" type business in the area, Finders Keepers is a continously letdown. The biggest issue? The store hours. Realistically, what store can maintain its stock, upkeep, advertise, and keep its rent and utilities going when its store hours are two days a week, totaling 12 hours? That comes out to 48 hours a month to generate enough income... no wonder the owner is always cranky! Which brings me to issue #2. Terrible customer service. The owner is short-tempered, appears to be bothered with questions of any sort, and unapologetic. She and her husband also tend to tag team when responding to reviews, rather than accepting corrective criticism they become very passive-aggressive. The store itself has potential, but again, since they appear to want to only open two days a week and overwork themselves rather than hire an additional employee, it's pretty disheveled and comes off like an indoor rummage sale. What even a Cricut machine and some fun decor/ lighting could do! For selling previously returned items/ open boxes from other retailers and Amazon, the prices aren't horrible. What makes it frustrating and confusing for both the buyer and seller is the lack of consistency in pricing. The owner tends to blame a bin mix-up when changing the price of an item brought to the register. Color-coded stickers and zip ties could save a lot of time and hassle- plus prevent further negative engagement in the future. I'd like to see Finders Keepers excel. They've got something good, much like their store name, they've just got to find it."
"I stumbled across this store a couple months ago. It is my first bin store experience. It is like going to a rummage sale but everything is new. I went back recently and noticed they decreased their hours to only weekends now. I see some haters who left bad reviews. I feel differently. Yes, things could be better marked and things end up in wrong bins but look at home much stuff they have. I can’t imagine keeping up with pricing everything. When I first visited, the owner was behind the desk is a sea of boxes, sorting and just tying to get things out on the floor. She looked exhausted. We chatted a little and she said she has 4?5? kids. I don’t remember the number I just remember thinking being a mom to one person is hard. Owning a business is hard and she is doing both. I admire her drive to better herself and her family’s life and she’s clearly pouring everything she has into this place. I wish women found it in their hearts to support vs spite each other. I hope this store stays open because I have fun strolling through occasionally. Maybe next time you’re there, drop a kind word to the owner and see if you get a different response. You get more bees with honey, honey!"
"I have been to this place a few times, and the prices are sooooo good! Most of the stuff is like half the price of normal. I got a toaster oven for like 20$ when it’s normally like 50? Just an example I don’t remember exactly, but still. I often go to discount/bin stores and this is the cleanest one I have ever seen. All the other ones are just random things thrown in bins, normally broken or dirty, and the floors are messy. When I come here it doesn’t smell weird the things in the bins aren’t all over the floor. Most of the stuff is unboxed and not broken/dirty. She lets you test out items to make sure they work. The owner is very generous, great store, definitely will be visiting again!"
"I'm going to save you a trip. Don't waste your time coming to this store. Half the time the place is not even open. If you come at the "store hours" you may have to wait outside for a while until the owner decides to open the door. She will take her sweet time so don't bother waiting. The owner is a mess. She is not consistent and is always delayed. She loves going on Facebook lives and just talks nonsense on camera. She goes live to complain about her customers or change store hours again. She is the rudest store owner I ever encountered. Not professional, not friendly. If you make it inside, good luck trying to figure out the prices. There are no clear signs on the prices for the items. You have to keep going up to the counter to ask for how much an item is. The owner will get annoyed but it's her fault for not putting out visible prices. She makes up prices in her head based on your looks or something. It's a scam. I'm all for supporting independent woman businesses, but this lady is too childish and clearly doesn't care about anyone or anything. She says every excuse in the book. Eventually people will start getting tired of her. If you can't keep up with your customers or your store, then why even own a business? She has a lot of learning to do."
