"Small, intimate theater producing fun comedies and mysteries."
"Super intimate theater. Acting was superb, and staff were so friendly. Free cookies and lemonade during intermission. A local treasure!"
"Small, intimate community theater with big ambitions. Seating is compact, very close to the performance. Very friendly local crowd. Feels relaxed and playful. Good production value. If you live in proximity, definitely worth checking out a few plays."
"We saw "The Golden Years" and it was spectacular. The theatre is small and a bit warm, but the play and players made up for it. If you have a chance to see this play, I recommend it."
"I have attended a number of Santa Clara Players plays over the years, and have come away each time in awe as to the fabulous acting job they have done and how much I completely enjoyed each play. I have to point out the exception was this last visit. On Friday night I attended Agatha Crusty and The Murder Mystery Dinner. I felt uncomfortable during the play and by the end I wasn't sure why I disliked the performance. I did speak to a couple other people there and they too felt it just wasn't "on course" as usual. I do feel all the Silicon Valley "techie" references made very little sense to the play. I also felt Tanya and Duncan over-acted and over-reacted their parts and could have very easily been left out completely. To me they were a distraction. I do believe it was their acting, along with the story adaptation, that left me with the "funny feeling." Because I bought a season ticket this year due to the fact that I have absolutely loved every past performance I attended, I just felt I needed to pass on my feelings about this play, especially the performance on Friday night. I am looking forward to the future plays. Gerri Nedley 360 No. Winchester Blvd.#8-A Santa Clara, CA 95050"
