"A bit understaffed...no one at food/drink counter until I called out several times. Help counter at door had "closed" sign on desk, with two staff women there the entire time. Seats uncomfortable (despite reclining), and seat coverings often torn / bad condition. The swivel trays are nice ... at first glance, but a poorly thought out purchase by theatre: they plug into armrest cupholder, providing more surface area and a cup holder. The problem is the new cup holder is too large, and the closed caption device will not fit in it. Clearly not well thought out. Closed captioning didn't work for any of the pre-movie stuff, except for two trailers. The ads, and other trailers, locked captioning. The main movie, the boy in the heron, close captioning worked about 75% of the time, missing about one line out of four. I was initially offered a headset that simply amplified, instead of providing closed captioning ... I declined it, and later realized the earpieces had no sanitation protection, so I don't know how many patrons had used them before being offered to me! The closed captioning device was relatively easy to use once I removed the tray from the seat, which should not have been necessary."

"For an unbelievable $7 you can go to the VIP second floor seating in a large theater with spectacular sound, and sit in plush super comfy large recliner style seats! We had not been to the movies for a couple of years due to the pandemic, but still ShowPlace is so different and so amazing. The screens are huge, and all of the staff was super friendly. PS: If the experience is this good for $7, the theater so lovely, don't complain and the $9 popcorn. The have to make some money, right?"
