Super 8 by Wyndham North Hollywood

"All of the staff here at Super 8 were very nice and kind to my children and I. The rooms are very clean and the ladies there are always there helping keeping the rooms clean providing you with towels, soap or extra toilet paper if needed. For breakfast you have several options from cereal, bagels with cream cheese, cinnamon roll bread, eggos with syrup, tea, milk, coffee, apple juice, orange juice and also fruit. The staff made my check in and check out go very smoothly. They were all very kind to my kids and I and I appreciate that we were able to get good nights of sleep feeling safe and comfortable without any disruptions from any guest in the other rooms. The owner by far was the most generous respectful kind hearted man that I have dealt with. He made my extended stay go smoothly without any problems compared to the other hotels I previously stayed at. He was very kind attentive and respectful and his kind words let me know that things happen for a reason and his words reassured me that things will get better as long as I have faith and remain strong for my children. I would highly recommend anyone especially people with children experiencing homelessness to chose to have their stay at Super 8. This place provided safety, and comfort for our time being there compared to other locations we had been to. No illegal activities are going on at Super 8 so you can rest well knowing your children and you are safe and that’s what all of us parents look for when staying at hotels. "I must admit that this place is beyond my expectations. 2stars hotel? I kind of made peace with it. But don’t let the stereotype fool you. This Super8 in North Hollywood is much more! Facility is clean, wide space parking, security cameras everywhere, big room w/ 9 outlets (5stars hotel couldn’t give you that much), cable TV, daily housekeep-ing, big bodywash/shampoo/lotion bottles, friendly staffs, good breakfast. What I loved most is the bed, BEST mattress ever!!!. I got a goodnight sleep here. Special thanks to Naomal the manager, he took good care and accommodated all requests. Thank you."

"We only came to spend the night didn’t care about any amenities. Had a nice nights sleep rooms pretty spacious. Didn’t see anything wrong with the area. One downfall no elevator anything you have you need to carry up the stairs shouldn’t be an issue if you only have one bag. 2nd downfall sheets looked dirty with holes and cockroach crawling in bed didn’t see it til morning. 3rd downfall my daughter was eating breakfast croissant and it was expired 5 days before."

"An okay place for a last-minute "rest before a long drive" type of stay. Pro's - overall clean, has windows that open ( I always prefer fresh air over AC), convenient location. Cons - cigarette smell in the room, no soap bars, problems with door lock, shady neighborhood vibe ( if you arrive in the evening). Generally, this hotel isn't that bad. Just pretty simple!"
