"Miserable unkept trail with a poor map and unhelpful signs. If you're riding a horse, I'm sure this place is amazing, but otherwise, if you're here to bird, DON'T. Walking was awful as there was horse manure everywhere which caused a ton of bugs and a stinky path. Plants were all overgrown on trail and there was low visibility for birds. There ARE bobcats here so do not bring your dog. There is also an open and spewing sewer close to the edge of one of the trails. All birders, avoid this trailhead and place in general. Not worth it."
"We were staying at the nearby campsite and wanted to visit this area. There was a closed building on the property and a short trail you can take. We saw a lot of humming birds. This area is popular with horse back riders."
"Must have been wonderful when it was new. Not much in bloom when I was there in late September. Good size place, nice for a little stroll."
"Handful of benches to sit in different areas of the garden and plenty trash cans. It's not overwhelmed with flowers it's a bit more natural; still beautiful in a peaceful way. No bicycles or horses in the garden area and you are able to walk out of the garden to a different area where there is more tables and parking different trails less used by people so it's soft sand. Did get a couple of ticks so use bug spray. Two of my pictures are of us leaving the garden with a sign saying butterfly garden and another with a different sign and trail marker which is a trail on the outside of the garden."
"Beautiful place filled with lots of trees and a ton of birds. Perfect place to reconnect with nature and mother earth/ pachamama or a meditative walk."
