"Great small park with San Marcos community pool. We have not been to the pool so can’t comment. We go there for my grandkids soccer practice. It is nice since it is close by. They have one field with lights on one side of pool, and a softball field on the other side, and some more plain grass field with no lights. Also have couple of tennis courts."
"Like the facility, location and though smaller type facility, they had all the amenities we needed. Only gripe is the lack of etiquette that is allowed at pool. You will find yourself doing laps and kids just come freely into your lane whenever to just hang out when there's a ton of space elsewhere to hang out. The lifeguards don't see it as an issue and don't do anything about it."
"Worst lap swimming experience at a public pool. First and last time at Las Posas Park pool for me. Swam for about 40mins in one of the two lap swim lanes, which were both empty when I started. A little over half way into the swim, I was bombarded by 5-6 kids jumping in and out of my lane and also on me, throwing life jackets and pool toys into my lane. Apparently I created quite the stir at this pool while minding my own business (not my usual swim spot). Perhaps it was the swim trunks.. who knows. The lifeguard on duty was sitting two lanes away from all of this going on and was either clueless or too scared to speak up, but in the end I ended up doing his job for him and put a stop to it. Won’t be coming back here."
"Nice Pool & Terrific Pool Instructors! My daughter began her swim lessons here at the age of 4. She has really progressed in her learn to swim class. The swim instructors are patient, and good with the varied little emerging personalities of the children. Also, there is always a lifeguard(s) on duty to keep watch on the other children while the instructor works one on one."
"The park is very clean and well kept. It is used for soccer games Saturday most of the day during the season, and often during weekdays in the evening. It really serves the community well. The bathrooms are very clean and well kept as is the pool which has some fun water features for the children. It us also a great place for exercise and for tennis. If memory serves there is evening lighting till around 10."
