"A great place to bring your dog or dogs to frolic and have some fun in the water. Lots of other dogs running and playing on the surf. You can walk your dog or dogs up and down the Pacific Coast Highway. Lots of parking and restrooms situated at least 1/4 in between. There’s a lot of trash bins and poop bags in case your dog do their usual number ones! We saw a lot of seagulls and to my surprise squirrels!"
"My dogs LOVE this beach. I’m not sure where it begins and ends but you can walk for a very long time. There are public restrooms and you actually get the restroom to yourself which is nice, but it’s typical public bathroom. Maybe wear shoes and bring antiseptic/toilet paper. It’s not a nice restroom but they have one. Parking is surprisingly easy!! The sunsets here are just gorgeous. Playing fetch with the dogs is great because the waves get pretty deep pretty quick, and they will have to swim. Lots of furry friends to play with. People are incredibly friendly and helpful. This can be social or you can keep to yourself if you’re wanting privacy. Beach is kept very clean and the rocky backdrop is intermittent and beautiful. Again, you can’t beat the sunset here… you can even see the queen mary on clear days!"
"This dog beach was AMAZING!!! The waves were low and not very powerful so the dogs can play in them. I walked to the peer and it was FAR! The best place to be on the dog beach if you don’t want to be around a lot of people is tower 28. If you walk past the no dogs allowed sign, you can find an open spot for your dog if it doesn’t really like other dogs. Parking- its LONG! After 3, it’s better but if your there before 7 am, it’s good we got there at 10 and it was okay. We waited for about 20-30 minutes. Follow me and Maverick on YouTube @your_agility_bestie"
