"Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with Maxim Mattress. I purchased my mattress about 2 years ago and paid to have it shipped from California to Florida. I noticed right away that the mattress was higher in the middle of the bed. I initially thought the mattress may have been built this way on purpose to reduce the potential of sagging over time. But after 2 years, the higher middle section became a mountain, as the right and left sides significantly sloped downward several inches, making it nearly impossible for my pregnant wife to roll over onto my side of the bed. The mattress was clearly defective since the day it left the warehouse. I recently contacted Maxim and inquired about using the manufacturer's warranty. I was told I would need to pay to have the bed shipped from Florida to the headquarters in California for repair, pay the repair fee/deductible, and pay for the shipping back to Florida. Financially, this process didn't make any sense, rendering the warranty worthless. I asked if a local 3rd party mattress repairer could come to my home to inspect the mattress and confirm the defects, but that suggestion was denied, and I was told there were no other options other than sending the mattress back to the warehouse in California. Based on my experience, I would recommend customers look elsewhere for their next mattress."
