"The good: Service was great, everyone was friendly. The room was pretty clean. The breakfast was much better than expected. Overall a pretty good value. There's a taco bell in an adjacent/connected parking lot, which was neat. The bad: The bathroom was pretty small and didn't love that the sink was outside the bathroom door. It was kind of dingy, bad paint jobs and had a big dent/hole in the door. Pretty odd how much worse the bathroom was than the room. It was usable though. There wasn't enough parking on our side of the hotel so we had to park on the other side, which made what would have been a short walk into a very long walk. A bit more parking would be great."
"Extremely kind front desk worker when we arrived, and a very beautiful scenery behind the building if you smoke. The room felt nice and cozy, and you can’t hear your neighbors which is a huge plus. The only drawbacks were the floor of the room felt a little dirty and there was no plastic shower curtain in the bathroom, but all in all, a wonderful stay"
"I have waited quite some time to pass because I believe to get people to truly understand there must not be anger present. The initial month my sister and I were one of the best experiences we have had. Mostly because of "Betty" who we did not know beforehand. She was definitely not our problem. The problem seemed to start when a maintenance man, Joseph, came to the Hotel. After a couple hellos and a wave he actually flirted inappropriately. I never said a word. That evening I realized people we didn't know started knocking on our door. Asking to borrow money, food, etcetera. We asked for a room change. The room we were in was so filthy I cleaned, scrubbed, and got no recognition, except when Joseph told Management that he found a pill on our floor we got asked to leave. We just had been illegally evicted. Got COVID 19, had my new Mercedes stolen. We spent thousands of dollars. Also, to confirm Joseph found a baby aspirin on the newly shampooed carpet. Management listened to an who did not get his way and as a result. he showed me. He is responsible for 2 senior citizens, with residual effects of the Pandemic. We will never refer anyone to the Red Lion Inn."
"Only a two star because the bed was comfortable. The bathroom has mold all over and the baseboards are gross full of dirt. The carpets are dirty looks like they have never been cleaned. The pictures on the website are nothing like what you get. When we arrived we were given a room that was not ready we walked into a nastily dirty bed. We were moved to another room however, it was gross we had a function to attend so had no choice but to remain here. I was so grossed out to get in that dirty shower. Spend the extra money and DO NOT STAY HERE!!!"
"I would not recommend this inn to anyone! My husband and I stayed 8/25/2023 and had an extremely subpar experience both during and with the communication after our stay. Initially upon arrival, the remote for our room did not work past the volume and power buttons, and upon receiving a new remote the volume was not working. Once that issue was resolved, upon opening our closet there were still dirty sheets and lingerie hanging! Upon discussing with the front desk clerk she let us know that she would ensure the owners viewed the issue, and someone would reach out to us. She was kind enough to take off $30 from our room for the inconvenience, up to that point the guest service was phenomenal. We waited a week with no callback before I reached out asking about an update, and if I could speak with a Manager/Owner. At 9a I was told no one was available for me to talk to, and that someone would call me back later in the day. After not hearing from anyone, I reached out that evening to be told that the Manager had left and there was no one I could speak to. The clerk, named Alex, continued on to tell me that they were not going to give me my money back, since I slept in the room and didn’t ask for a room change. I did not call asking for my money back, I called to speak with the Manager/Owner, nor was I able to change rooms that night because they were completely booked. The guest service I received in attempting to address an issue I had found with my room was horrible, I would recommend finding some place else to stay especially in regards to their guest service and room quality. I still have yet to receive a call back in anyway. It seems to be clear that they do not care about their guests or their experience with their establishment."
