Super 8 by Wyndham Dixon/UC Davis 2500 Plaza Court, Dixon, CA 95620

"I was very disappointed with the super 8 in Dixon. 1st, we looked the price of our room up on there web site and it listed for $ 64 a night. When we arrived they charged us $88. because they said there were no other rooms available. This was around 9:30pm and there were only two cars in the parking lot. 2nd , they offered no military discount. 3rd, the advertisement said that they provided a full continental breakfast and the only thing that they offered was a juice box.1"

"Solid experience, was actually pleasantly pleased. My car was disabled and I had to park it for the night instead of trying to continue to SF and I was pleasantly surprised at the rooms and staff. The new room which I was lucky enough to get was bright, clean, and comfortable with a fridge for my food and enough room to move around. The location was solid and had a number of places to eat within walking distance. They provide a rolling luggage truck to help you move your things inside. They have an elevator. The front staff was extremely nice and helpful. Since I arrived so late, they were kind enough to give me an extension. The only HORRIBLE thing that happened was that Dixon city police actually GO INSIDE the parking lot and give you parking tickets so if you are parking off street and your registration is expired or something else, do NOT go here as Dixon police literally gave me a registration ticket for my disabled car at 1:36 AM (in the morning)! I have never in my life heard that police go into a private off street parking facility to do that. The front desk guy says that yes the Dixon police give parking tickets in their parking lot all the time, so be forewarned! At 0136 in the morning, you can imagine how bored the cops were to have to find people in a hotel parking lot to give tickets to. It was horrible, particularly since my car was disabled and I was transporting it in the morning to my mechanic since it was late when I arrived (8pmish). More people need to fight these tickets b/c they are not supposed to go into a privately owned off street parking lot to give you a ticket. This was not a retail parking lot but a privately owned hotel lot that only alllows registered guests to park."

"Just dropped off a friend so she could hang out with folks from the area. Front lobby was clean and neat. Big fish tank in waiting area. Good size elevator rooms were big and clean. Easy check-in and polite staff."

"An inexpensive room w a leaky faucet, broken fridge, 1 working lamp of 3 lamps, a worn out plug by there desk that my charger wouldn't stay in. The window doesn't keep out the freeway noise, like at all. But honestly I wasn't expecting much at that price, so not actually dissatisfied."

"Guy at the front desk was so nice and personable. Great location off the high way. Food and gas all around. Loved the pool. Yeah the rooms were dated. But it just wanted to get out of traffic. Guy at the front desk needs a raise. Such a sweet man"
