Orchard Hill

"I surprised my boyfriend with a last-minute getaway for his birthday this past Saturday. From start to finish, Orchard Hill staff went above and beyond to make us both feel so special. When we arrived to the front desk they offered warm chocolate chip cookies and presented my boyfriend with a gift bag of mugs and honey. Matthew (great food service experience from Matthew who anticipated our every need), Emily, Becky and everyone else made us feel like family. The outside entrance and deck of Orchard Hill have beautiful craftsman style touches, the room was cozy with a soft, downy bed, their hors d'oeuvres, dinner and full breakfast offerings were excellent and amply portioned, and the main lodge had so many activities we felt like we needed more than one day to stay. Overall, the quality of service, food, accommodations, ambiance, and amenities were simply outstanding. Thank you again for a wonderful memory that will last a lifetime."

"Orchard Hill is a hidden gem in Julian. Located just walking distance from the main street, it is quaint and romantic with beautiful rooms, outside deck and open fire place. Great food. Definitely worth checking out!"

"This was hands down the BEST experience I've had at an accommodation in a long time. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful all around. They truly showed that they wanted you to enjoy your stay with the delectable breakfast and happy hour being offered daily. In particular, Becky and Matthew went above and beyond by offering great recommendations for hiking and places in town to visit. The room was very relaxing. I loved the fireplace, comfy sitting chair and the shower was nice and hot.Thank you for an amazing stay! I'll definitely be back in the future."

They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The rooms are beautiful and it made us feel like we weren’t in San Diego County.
